21.01.2022 Hello everyone! Just wanted to touch base with you all! It’s been a strenuous few months here on the Granite Belt. We have endured horrendous fires, unheard of drought which is ongoing for many parts of our district, and now we are all coping with the Global Pandemic COVID-19. My hubby & myself have been self isolating for the past 3 weeks due to us both having Compromised Immune Systems. We are only travelling off our farm for essential needs & these trips are very sparse. ...COVID-19 has taken its toll on the Wedding industry, from Celebrants through to venues down the line to Dressmakers etc. We are all doing it tough! So with all of the Social Distancing regulations, a lot of couples have had to rethink their plans & or adapt to them. Sadly many out their have had to cancel altogether Note that I am available to discuss any inquiries you may have in regards to getting married during this uncertain time. So please everyone Stay Safe & Stay @ Home so we can all come through this on the other side of this horrific virus! KC

11.01.2022 On Tuesday morning at 6am my world was turned upside down when the phone rang and the words 'Kerrie-Anne I'm so sorry to tell you that your husband has passed a...way a little while ago'! My heart shattered into a million pieces at that moment. I told the Dr it was a cruel joke to play on someone!!! But it wasn't a joke it was real, everything became a blur from that moment on, I didn't know what to do next. I have never felt so alone as I did in that moment! I called my son Daniel, and he took over from there he left work and met me at the hospital. I managed to call my BFF Cathy Ann and she too dropped everything to be at my side. My daughter Kelly & her wife Donna also came to the hospital. Angela, was in hospital at the Sunny coast awaiting a procedure & Crystal was at her home at Rosedale, so we facetimed them both. We were told to take as much time with my darlin, after a while the Dr that was looking after Brian came in to see me. She was so genuinely upset and told me this was not supposed to happen, he was responding well to the newest of the antibiotics and they were planning to get him well enough to transfer him to Stanthorpe Hospital. She believed that Brian suffered a Cardiac Arrhythmia, he was so tired as he hadn't slept for days, and sadly he just didn't have the energy to restart his heart. I have been overwhelmed with phone calls messages and visitors, and I would like to thank everyone that has been looking out and offering support to myself and my children, it really means the world to us. We as a family have made the arrangements for Brian's Celebration of Life, and we invite those who wish to attend to join us for our final tribute to a Man who became my saviour, my lover, my life, my soulmate, Dad to my four kids and husband of 32+ years.
