23.01.2022 STYLING TIP: Bedrooms are my favourite rooms to style. I use the bed linen as the key element to building a cohesive colour palette. From there I like to layer the bed with different textures such a linen quilt cover, a waffle throw with a boucle bed head. Then balance with a vignette on the bedside table and a beautiful artwork above the bed. In my @the_stylist_lab Interior Styling 101 course I teach you how to master the art of bed styling! 21.01.2022 Thought I’d share some living room style tips so you can start the week ahead with some fresh ideas for your home. 1. Try a different layout for your living room. Rather than buying new furniture sometimes it’s just a matter of switching out say an armchair from another room and trying it in the living room. (My hubby & I changed the layout of our terrace several times, it’s fun & reinvigorates the room) 2. Create a cohesive colours palette using approx 3 colours with your c...ushions, throw & rug. Ideally pick up on colours you have in artwork so it everything connects. 3. Style any free surfaces like coffee tables, bookshelves or mantles with vignettes of books and homewares. 06.01.2022 One of my master bedroom style tips in the @adairs Insider Class video is, when I have a pattern quilt cover, I use plain colour sheets. This allows your pattern quilt cover to be the focal point and for your bed to not look so busy & clash. For the colour of the sheets, I pick out a hue found on the quilt cover and match it with the sheet set. This creates a cohesive color palette for the bed, that you can also use to style the whole room too.
