01.01.2022 R O A R I N G D E E P I'll be 90 years old and those words will still trigger memories of one of the most extraordinary dive sites I've experienced so far. My second winter tech diving in the ocean off Minjerribah (@northstradbrokeisland), and it was again teeming with rays and sharks. ... Now the seasons are transitioning and, along with fevers of cownose rays like this, the leopard sharks and mantas are arriving with the summer weather. Canon Australia Isotta Housings Diving with Manta Lodge YHA and Scuba Centre. As the world opens up, do yourself a favour and dive with these guys. See more

17.12.2021 There's always a feeling of ‘we just did something special together’ at the end of a tech dive. Bill Robson. 29.11.2021 The cavernous engine room of the Kensho Maru wreck | Truk Lagoon, Micronesia Pete Mesley lighting up the beautiful engine room of the Kensho Maru wreck for me. The Japanese WW2 ship the Kensho Maru was sunk by US Navy planes during Operation Hailstone in 1944 and lies at 40m depth. ... This is truly one of the best wreck engine rooms to dive in the world, and Pete was kind enough to let me buddy with him on my very last dive on a Truk trip with Peter and Becky Kagan Schott- Underwater DP/Cameraman/Photographer in November 2019. If you ever get a chance to join one of their trips, you won’t be disappointed. I dream every day of returning to Truk Lagoon. Canon Australia Isotta Housings Bigblue Dive Lights

24.11.2021 I’ve been a massive fan of the Fourth Element diving brand for some years now. So this was a fun photography project I did with Fourth Element and Total Immersion Diving. 05.11.2021 I’m so happy to share that my underwater portrait of my niece, Sarah, has been awarded in the People category of 2021 The Mono Awards - Australia’s largest Black & White Photography competition. It is also featured in the last editions of Australian Photography magazine and Capture magazine. I took this image in a completely unplanned moment in the water on a typically hot Boxing Day last December. When I look at Sarah’s face in the image, I see her mother, my sister Kellie..., staring back at me. Kellie and I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours together in the water as children. I think this will always be one of my favourite images, reminding me of Australian summers, family, and our love of being in the water. Canon Australia Isotta Housings

29.10.2021 Sarah's Underwater World My beautiful 6-year-old niece, Sarah, in her element underwater (she's since turned 7). She's been breath holding underwater since before she could crawl, and her absolute ease and confidence in the water is a sight to behold. She’s a typical Aussie water baby. ... Like most of my favourite underwater photos taken in the last few years, this one was completely unstaged. Just a curious little girl looking into my housing dome. I can't wait until she's old enough to come diving with me. Canon Australia Isotta Housings INON japan

18.10.2021 Newcastle has long been a breeding ground of world-champion surfers and some of Australia's most iconic rock bands. It's Sydney's younger, cooler sister. Now there's something really special going on in the diving community there - a growing army of CCR divers - and big things in the works for the second half of 2021. I lived in Newcastle for three fantastic years as a teenager.... When I wasn't studying, I was in the ocean at one of its beautiful beaches or hanging out with friends listening to live music in pop-up venues or parents' garages. Over the last couple of months of training and diving, my JJ-CCR Rebreathers instructor Ryan Duchatel and course dive buddy Jo MacGregor have been re-introducing me to Newy. 13.10.2021 I am so excited to share I’ve been recognised as one of Australasia’s (Australia, New Zealand and surrounding countries) Top Emerging Photographers 2021. The second pinch me moment in a week. My mini-portfolio of The Ghost Fleet of Truk Lagoon wreck photography rece...ived a Highly Commended Award. And my mini-portfolio Papua New Guinea - St George's Channel Wreck received a Top 30 award in the Black & White category. Canon Australia Isotta Housings

07.10.2021 Christina photographed amongst an explosion of fish on the stern of the ex-HMAS Brisbane wreck in @queensland @australia. . . .... We | The Water is a photography project I've been working quietly on for over 18 months now. Originally meant to be an international portraiture series, 14 months of Covid border closures has meant the photos I've taken have been all here in my beautiful home Australia. 85% of the Australian population live less than an hour's drive from our stunning coastlines. Australians cling to the ocean like a child clings to its mother - we’ve had an extremely close relationship to the ocean for over 65,000 years. Over the coming months, I'll be introducing my family and friends to the people I've been spending my time with in the last couple of years - in, on and under the water. 21.09.2021 A Sliver of Golden Light in the Black Ocean Night diving in Sydney Harbour when one of these crazy little creatures came floating by. . .... . It’s been a wretched summer for diving, but now the cooler and clearer winter ocean waters are appearing. I’ve been getting back in the water in anticipation of an action-packed 6 months ahead, starting with CCR training with Total Immersion Diving - a huge step forward in my diving. Looking forward to my first wreck dive with the JJ-CCR Rebreathers this weekend. See more
