02.01.2022 If you’re looking at your kids tonight mindlessly munching chocolate after this weekend, watching screens (or not!), asking you about what’s the next fun thing happening in the hols for meee’.... Well my sister @gabrielleriver is no different....the only difference is that for the cost of a handful of extra groceries thrown into the trolly along with a bit of a kitchen cooking session (AND GOD KNOWS WE ALL HAVE TIME ON OUR HANDS ATM!) here’s what my neice got from my sister: ...-Quality time as a family achieving a goal, cooking some meals for people who are homeless in Sydney...and the pride my neice experienced being so proud of her cooking skills - doing the drive on Sunday morning to the pick up point and handing over 10 meals and carefully packaged snap-lock bags with measured out Easter eggs to accompany the meals - my neice went to bed last night knowing 10 people went to sleep with a full belly, literally because of her. And THAT is the best Easter gift I can think of giving a child. All my sister spent was a handful of extra groceries....and a bit of time..... looking forward to contributing next week @plates4mates_sydney ... you guys are simply awesome human beings @gabrielleriver you continue to inspire me ... you are so giving and generous and HUMBLE...
