24.01.2022 An old favourite I have neglected to make of late - Patchouli & Vanilla. It will cure to a beautiful rich dark colour during cure because of the high vanillin content.

24.01.2022 By popular request a preview of this season release of luxury and exotic soaps which have been handmade by Kerrie in Nundle. Soaps have not long been cut and wont be available until after the 4 to 6 week cure so be patient. Soaps are not yet "tidied" up for sale yet because as I said earlier they have just been cut. This fragrance can be found the world over, tucked away in kitchens and guestrooms of five-star hot...els and first-class cabins of airlines. That's because this complex citrus blend leaves skin and hair smelling and feeling really, really fresh and clean. We hope you'll give our version of this jet-setting favourite a try. Bursting juices of orange come to life with energetic splashes of grapefruit. Blooming petals of orange flower and a hint of patchouli add depth and longevity to this beautiful creation. Orange, Spearmint and Bitter Orange essential oils were used in this blend. Petra *Type - Smokey and creamy, a sweet vanilla combination of black pepper and tobacco flower with middle notes of tonka bean, red apple and fig on a base of dark chocolate and patchouli. Egyptian Musk & Spearmint My own blend. Simply the muskiest, sexiest, most beguiling musk (with just a tiny bit of Spearmint) blend you will ever smell. Sandalwood & Musk - A woody blend of sandalwood and cedar wood essential oils infused with musk and softened with subtle notes of violet and jasmine. It is simply divine. French Lavender - Just like the picturesque French countryside rich in lavender, this scent exhibits herbaceous rosemary with a touch of vanilla bean and timeless patchouli. Moroccan Escape An old favourite has returned bringing with it all the exotic aromas of a Marrakesh spice market. Bergamot & Neroli My own blend of citrus fragrances with a touch of something else making it almost like a Woods of Windsor perfume. Top notes of citruses, bergamot, neroli & lemon. Middle notes are rosemary & lemon verbena. Base notes are woodsy & musk. Bergamot, Patchouli & Sandalwood - A warming and luscious woody scent with top notes of bergamot and lemon peel, an earthy base of sandalwood, cedar wood and patchouli, and hints of vanilla and white musk. Has notes of cedarwood & lemon peel. Bergamot, Patchouli & Musk - The heady aroma of patchouli fills the air with a citrus twist of bergamot. Tangelo, white gardenia, vetiver and musk round out this exceptional scent. Prosecco Rose’ - A decadent celebration that highlights the sweet, heady aroma of sparkling prosecco wine with a floral twist of red rose & geranium with raspberry & watermelon. Bergamot & Musk The name says it all which the men will just love. Sexy crossed with classiness.

23.01.2022 Trial run of soap on a rope but at 200g they are a might large but with the addition of Pumice etc they would make a long lasting workshop soap I am thinking.

16.01.2022 Sorry no time for glam photos of soaps yet but here is a peek of some more of my Spring release ... Still in their moulds except for the "Oz Bush" one it is cut but not trimmed.

13.01.2022 Re : Fragrance shortages may affect resupply of popular soaps. For those that don’t know or understand. Many fragrances are made up from maybe 6/8/10 different components sometimes more, pending the actual scent structure being the; base, middle & top notes. These components are sort worldwide even though often made here in Australia. Countries like Italy, France, Spain, Russia, India and the UK, not just China are some of the locations these necessary components are shipped... from. As you should be aware all these countries have huge populations effected by Covid. If just one component is missing, a fragrance can not be manufactured. So that being said i will do the best I can to restock fragrances but do have some to continue with for the time being. See more

11.01.2022 I could just cry! Not long made this goat's milk "gardenia" soap for which I had made soap dough flowers, buds and leaves. Just realised I forgot to add the fragrance

10.01.2022 Freshly made and just poured into moulds. Rice milk soap with no colouring and no fragrance. Proven to be perfect for babies and most people with super sensitive skins. Available in 4 to 6 weeks time after curing $4.50 each.

08.01.2022 Just cut a new fragrance trial ready for Father's Day, Black Peppercorn & Spice to which I have added activated charcoal. Sorry not a great photo, look like I will have to lift my game in that area

06.01.2022 oMG I came home from a meeting this afternoon and you have no idea how wonderful my house smelled. Over the last two days I have made 4 X 2kg batches of soap with the following fragrances for Spring release: Strawberries & Champagne juicy Fig and Guava Blood Orange... Wild Frangipani I am going to make orange blossoms and frangipani flowers out of Soap Dough to put on top of the matching soaps. For those who don't know soap dough is a special recipe which comes out like icing fondant and is mouldable. When done and set aside to cure they become hard like bar soap. Here is a photo of one soap still in its mould and some uncoloured soap dough beside it.

05.01.2022 Freezing cold outside today but nice inside with the fire going. I spent the afternoon packing orders.
