22.01.2022 Some shots from the fashion shoot I did a couple of weeks. This shoot was a real joy to work on as anyone who knows me knows I live for anything vintage and the added creativity of this shoot was fantastic. Photographer: Rosanna Lettieri Photographer Model: Emily Woodward Morphe Yellow Eyeshadow supplied by Rouche Boutique

19.01.2022 Makeup for Maquarie Photography Society's portraiture photo shoot.

18.01.2022 This week I was booked last minute for a shoot in Glebe the next day, the look they wanted me to create on the model involved a matte yellow eye. The trouble is I didn't have a matte yellow eyeshadow in any form! I had shimmery yellows, golds, matte oranges and ochre's but no yellows! I could use a a facepaint or cream but that can get very messy or crack and so I didn't want to go down that road unless I absolutely had to. So I started crazily searching the internet for a co...mpany selling an eyeshadadow in the right colour. None of them had it in stock or were in Melbourne or America. They had no hope of getting here in time. Then I found Rouche Boutique. A Sydney based store and it had a Morphe Palette with the perfect yellow!! I emailed them with my time constraint and they immediately replied to me! The lady, named Amanda, drove to her supplier picked up my Palette and was going to hand deliver it to my house that night!! This is some of the best customer service I have ever had and I can not recommend this company enough. They have a great selection of brands including Sugarpill, Jeffrey Starr and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Check them out guys! http://www.roucheboutique.com.au/ Rouche Boutique

17.01.2022 Tonight was my second last class of my course and my second last assessment. It was a SFX Faery Assessment. We were required to bring a Brian Froud (genius behind The Labyrinth and Dark Crystal creatures) to life. My Faery was The Green Lady of the Fairy Knoll who is said to have invited all the women of the world to her knoll to share a tea of knowlwdge with them. Thank you to my amazing model Sinead Daly.

14.01.2022 I'm very lucky to be starting a kind of partnership with a photograper by the name of Rosanna Lettieri Photographer. She takes some truly amazing shots and we have very similar tastes in the art we want to create. Here are some shots from a shoot we did a couple of weeks ago. Model: Hayley Ratcliffe Photography and Styling by: Rosanna Lettieri

14.01.2022 Guess what? I now have a logo! Created by the amazing Matthew Franklin. It's taken quite a while for us to finally work out what the image in my head was but he managed to finally create it! How beautiful is it!

04.01.2022 Hair and makeup for a fashion shoot today :) Was so much fun, was a kind of art-pop, 60's themed shoot with lots of shadows and colour gels (filters). Can't wait for you all to see the photos!

03.01.2022 Cirque Du Soleil Assessment night. I had to create a twin of a current character from one of their shows. Introducing Sora (Heaven or sky), the fifth Element to Earth (Gaya), Water (Océan), Fire (Yoa) and Air(Azala) from the show Dralion :) She is a sort of Galaxy Geisha

03.01.2022 This morning I commemorated this powerful day by attending the Roseville RSL Dawn Service where my Mum and Godparents sang as part of the Sing Australia choir. It was a very moving service that I was very thankful that I was able to attend. Lest We Forget. But it also sent me on a vintage poster searching frenzy, did you know: Red lipstick became a staple among military nurses during WWII and was heavily associated with war efforts, sold in patriotic shades like Victory Red and Fighting Red. Women were expected to actively contribute to the war effort and take on traditionally male jobs without being masculine; makeup allowed them to exhibit this new power while also fulfilling the societal demand for feminine beauty.

02.01.2022 Tonight was the final night of my Diploma in Specialist Make-up. I am now a fully qualified make-up artist! Tonight was also my last assessment and photo shoot.
