25.01.2022 Just getting a few of my Fanciful Flutterbys ready for the Xmas sale at Noosa Arts & Crafts starting on December 1. There will be an amazing assortment of art and craft on sale by so many creative people.

24.01.2022 This is another artwork in my Endangered Animals series ... the Cassowary. A weird looking bird, dont you think, beautiful colours! I did this in coloured pencil on black pastel paper.

24.01.2022 This is a little something I've been working on lately. It's only 21x14cm and done in Watercolour and Coloured Pencil. I haven't done too much drawing lately cause I've been working on something special and exciting coming up with the Endangered Animals series of paintings that a few arty friends and I have been working on. Will tell you more soon!!! Stay tuned...

24.01.2022 Trying something new with my watercolours

23.01.2022 This is another attempt at using Acrylic Paints, on a 16x12" canvas.... a new medium for me. I did this from an online tutorial done by Angela Anderson. She is great and does fantastic live tutorials from the USA twice a week on YouTube.... well worth looking at. https://www.youtube.com/user/angelafineart/videos

23.01.2022 This is a Leadbeater Possum that I just finished in acrylics on canvas. They are Critically Endangered, which is so sad. Such a cute little guy! Thanks so much to Fiona Groom for sharing your knowledge at the workshop at NACA a few weeks ago.

23.01.2022 My first art project for 2020. I've been experimenting with acrylics over the xmas break and trying out using palette knives ... and other implements of destruction !!! It's been fun and I will keep going with different creative experiments this year!!

15.01.2022 Big, big News!! Three arty friends & I, from Noosa Arts & Crafts, have been working on a special project over the last 10 months. We all love animals & also l...ove to paint them. So we have put together a series of paintings of Endangered Animals from here in Oz & around the world. Now we have created a 2020 Calendar featuring our artworks of some of these amazing but vulnerable species. Were launching this unique calendar on Nov 8th at Wallace House in Noosaville. They will be available from there or from me for fifteen dollars (plus postage if reqd). The profits will be donated to a the Eumundi Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre which helps our injured birds & animals. So if you want one (or two, three ) of these beauties, just let me know and Ill put your name down on my list so you wont miss out. They make great xmas pressies and will support a wonderful cause!! See more
