25.01.2022 Not long now to the Easter Steamfest, beautiful weather forecast for Easter. So come and have some fun at the KMR Saturday and Sunday. Remember we are doing a sausage/bread/drink package for $6 Steam engines will be working in the museum, treats for the children, sorry no picnics and no eftpos facilities. Tickets Adults $15 pensioner/healthcare $12 and children $10 (walking and talking) Masks on the train and in the museum please....

16.01.2022 Hope you are well and happy:) Andrew is in the process of painting the roof which has 3 different colours (photos to come). The third and final colour on the roof will be happening tommorrow and will be in the spray booth with steam heating to dry and cure the paint!! We are now waiting on the weather after Friday to see if we can place the roof on and then do some steam trials for Douglas and the Engine Driver :) Keep watching this space.... If you are with your own family group in your own section it is up to you if you wear a mask. We still require sanitising and recording name and phone number on entry.

06.01.2022 Hello to all you interested KMR visitors, the latest Update regarding the COVID-19 Virus and our operations here at the KMR. We have been receiving a vast number of group cancellations this side of winter. We have decided to keep running trains on Sunday @ 11, 12, 1, 2 & 3 pm at present, due to health concerns for you and us, we shall be employing social distancing while running the trains. Be assured you will still be receiving our normal quality experience when vis...iting with. We also ask if you have visited overseas recently, we would welcome your visit at another time in the future:) The Team at the KMR wish you health and happiness in these difficult times.
