Kerry is a painter/sculpture that has truly discovered and shared the power art can deliver. Famous across Australia for her trademarks sculptures 'Mortal Portals', she has been able to bring a strong message and a sense of fun and quirkiness to the sculpturing world. Like many artist Kerry's skills cross into other mediums and her joyous painting works are delightful. In fact, Creating Joy through Art, is one of her mantras, so much so that she has developed a creative way to promote self discovery, healing and generate joy through her art workshops. On Thursday 26 March we welcome to our gorgeous old Queenslander, local artist, art therapist and sculptor Kerr...y Norman who will create a magical journey Creating Joy through Art. This approach is enlightening, thought provoking and most of all FUN. Kerry will guide you through her creative process using pastels in a symbolic and abstract way with the opportunity to transfer your most inner joy onto a canvas using acrylic paints. A relaxing and fun night. Come along and surprise yourself ! $65 will provide you with tuition, all materials, bubbles and yummo nibbles. It’s a great evening of comraderie, laughs and a wonderful opportunity to have some ME time. No previous experience is necessary. Book early as places are limited. 17.01.2022 Colour, texture, laugh was a great workshop on Wednesday after the 3 days of Noosa open studio. While experiencing a few different mediums they were able to complete 3 different pictures. It was good fun.

For the last three years, that's Toowoomba artist Dan Elborne has been doing i...t was the rate he needed work to reach 1.3 million handmade clay stones for a new work that will represent each person that passed through the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp. Yesterday, after 1,242 days, he very deliberately finished the final piece of the project.

Some do not need to tell the story at all, but may find expressive arts helpful in "revising the story" and identifying the body's experience of traumatic stress in order to begin the process of trauma reparation.
