19.01.2022 Equine Bowen therapy, like the human form of Bowen is a simple, non-invasive hands on therapy, that gently manipulates the facia surrounding the muscles. It is a whole body treatment, usually taking around an hour. It addresses the whole central nervous system, stimulates the lymphatic system, releases tight muscles and promotes pain relief and healing. Bowen is subtle and relaxing and in the majority of cases many horses start falling asleep If youre interested in seeing the effects of Bowen on your horses well being and ability to move with more freedom, give me a ring and we can organise a time to treat your horse or pony. 10.01.2022 Poles, Poles, Poles! Pole work is not just for jumping horses. It has many benefits, for horses across all disciplines. To start with its great for making flatwork more interesting. It also encourages your horse to become more rhythmic as well as balanced and has the added benefit of helping to strengthen your horse, especially through the hind quarter. As a rider it can help to improve your own eye, balance and timing. You do need to remember to start slowly though, as wi...th anything. Make sure your horse has the ability to navigate 1 or 2 poles in all gates before stepping up to several in a row and then onto more complicated exercises. I love this video below, of how creative you can be with poles. Although im not sure i have the patience to set up that many! Happy riding everyone :)

I adore my job, treating horses & ponies of all sizes and calibers and even more so watching them relax and release tension that in some cases has been there for years.
