15.01.2022 Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend Kerry Street Playgroup. We hope to grow this playgroup into a place where both the parents and the children are always excited to attend. It is also a great way to introduce your children to Kerry Street Community School for a easy transition when they start attending the school in future years We will have a messy activity set up for the children to attempt if they wish. This is a great way for parents to do something with their kid...s that they may not have the time/resources/or desire to set up at home alone. This is a time for the kids to get messy and will require parents help for the younger ones. We then pack up the messy activity with the kids and the kids have free play to give the parents a chance to have a cuppa and chat. We will finish off the playgroup with a goodbye activity (Book/Song/Game). This enables the kids to get used to some of the fun things that happen at school and siblings to children and Kerry St can feel like they get to go to "school" too. We will be registered with Playgroups WA which requires a yearly fee of $28 per family. This covers insurance and also support from the organisation. You dont have to be planning to enrol your children at Kerry Street School however it is a great way to get a little look at how the beautiful school is and see if it may suit your family. Its also a great way to introduce your children to Kerry Street Community School for a easy transition if they start attending the school in future years.
