ALL WELCOME We’ve put together a list of the jobs that are required to be done each and every week for a game to get underway on a Saturday and most people would be blown away with how much is required just to put the teams on the park. 24.01.2022 Hi all, As you are aware we are hosting todyas first final and with all the current covid restrictions in place I would like to get some assistance from you all so the day can run smoothly. If you could all please remind players, trainers and supporters of the requirements. We will have plenty of signage and reminders through the day. Please be seated while consuming alcohol Please maintain 1.5 m social distancing... No spectators on the field during the quarter breaks. We would like to ask that all teams vacate the change rooms a few minutes prior to the match before finishing so that we can go into the rooms and clean them before the team coming off the oval gets in there. We then ask those teams to be changed and out half way through the 2nd quarter of the following match so that we can again clean before the next group comes in. Covid marshals will be on duty to help with numbers etc. Cash is required at the gate for the HFL but cashless payments are preferred for the bar and canteen area once inside. Hand sanitiser will be available all over the ground. Below are the rooms that will be assigned to the clubs HOME AWAY Gumeracha A Birdwood BCRFC B Birdwood BCRFC 15s Meadows BCRFC 13s Mt Barker Home clubs will be in the home coaches box closest to the change rooms. Away teams in the coaches boxes closest to the canteen. Regards, Matt Coad KFC president.

17.01.2022 Season 2020 wrapped up yesterday with our presentation day. To go with a different year, we tried a different format with a Sunday afternoon event with grazing platters and a more casual feel. The day was a great success and was enjoyed by all those in attendance. Congratulations to all award winners from both the Football and netball club, and also congratulations to our 2 latest life member inductees Richie Tagg and Scott Cameron.
17.01.2022 Congratulations to the netball girls for bringing home 2 flags yesterday! Theres nothing like a medal around your neck at seasons end. It makes all the hard work worth it.
16.01.2022 2020 was a season like no other. But we got through it and Im more than proud of our club of the event we were able to host for yesterdays grind finals. Congratulations to all winners, commiserations to all the runners up, but great effort to make it. Huge thanks to my dedicated team of volunteers who pour their hearts into the club whenever asked. And finally, thanks to al those who attended. Behavior especially around the COVID restrictions was excellent with hardly an issue all day. See you all again in season 2021! Lets hope the next one flows a little smoother.
16.01.2022 The Kersbrook Football club is saddened to hear of the passing of past junior player Billy Wegener. Billy played quite a few years in our junior ranks and leaves behind some great friendships formed through the club. Our thoughts are with his friends and family in these tough times.
15.01.2022 Even with all the uncertainty around COVID restrictions and things changing everyday - we are still going ahead with our reunion day on the 22nd of August at our final home match against Meadows. The 1980 b grade side (see pic supplied by Tracy Parasiers) the 1990 B grade - still looking for photo and 2010 B grade - photo below!! Another message will go out soon to those we have contact details for. Please tag away if you know someone or let me know through messages their contact details and Ill get a message to them! Thanks everyone!
15.01.2022 To all players ... new and old. Young ones and veterans. WE ARE BACK! Tomorrow night a few of the boys will be having a run up at the oval about 6:30 to get the blood pumping for footy to start. Everyone is welcome to come up. Bring some water! Next week on the 17th we will be doing the same, and the coach’s want to get the playing group together to outline next season, set our goals and make some exciting announcements. That will happen around 6:30 with a bbq and beers. We want as many players available to come up and get together. We are pushing for 3 successful senior sides next year. That takes commitment from a large group. Let’s show it early. #brookers2021 #KFC100yearsofsuccess
14.01.2022 WE NEED YOUR HELP!! 2020 continues to throw up challenges even as we get towards the pointy end of the season. As most people would of heard, we as a club need to have a trained covid Marshal at all remaining home matches starting from this Friday. We will require someone in the role for this week, plus the 2 finals that we are slotted in for. As we will be expecting a large crowd on these days, the marshal must be someone that has no other duties on the day. My hard working committee are already stretched thin on match days, so we are looking for someone else to put their hand up to help us out. Either as a marshal, or to take up some other duties to free up a committee member. If you are able to help in anyway please contact Morse on 0407793208 or via the Facebook page. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

Thanks everyone for your patience!

11.01.2022 Be part of the Breakthrough On Saturday 15th August, SANFL will once again be supporting our good friends at Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation, by endorsing the Breakthrough Community Round. Football clubs across South Australia to don the purple and blue armbands, raising awareness to tackle mental health head on. ... With one in five Australians diagnosed with a mental health issue and more people aged between 15-44 years dying from suicide than any other cause it is imperative we support ground-breaking research to better understand what causes mental illness, how to treat it, and how to prevent it from happening. More than 80 clubs took part last year and while we appreciate this season will look a little different thanks to COVID-19 its never been a more important time to support the mental health of your players, officials, volunteers and families that make up the fabric of your community. Kersbrook Football Club will be supporting this great cause. To donate please click on link below.

If a club supporter needs to travel to multiple ovals during match day, they only pay once. The proof of payment is their copy of the Final Siren. 10.01.2022 Just an update to all, we have been allowed to have 2000 people at a time now thanks to a lot of hard work behind the scenes. If you are already down as a volunteer through myself or Julia, you dont need a ticket. Just need to sign in when you come through the gate. For everyone else that wants to come along and watch the footy, I recommend you jump on here and pre buy one before you come to avoid too many issues and help out with the contact tracing.
10.01.2022 Good luck Lachy Neindorf. The club is behind you on your journey. Keeping chasing your dream.

It showed that the message has got through, we really are all in this together and most people are happy to do the right thing so we can continue to play footy! Thanks again everyone.

03.01.2022 To all Auskickers and parents, I have been trying to get confirmation for weeks now if Auskick was allowed to recommence and was continually told we needed to wait for the AFL to sign off, and they still hadnt done it yet. I have now been told by 2 separate people that they have received the below email about us cancelling which is not the case! If you have registered and received the below email please let me know. It looks like the SANFL Auskick is starting back up so we should be allowed too as well. I will try and confirm once and for all and get the word out on start dates ASAP. Stay tuned!
03.01.2022 2020 may be a year like no other, but one thing never changes - Kersbrook FC premiership reunions. That's right 2020 is no exception as we have 3 club premierships to celebrate. This year its time for the 1980, 1990 and 2010 B grade sides. Date of reunion will be confirmed in the next week but will be either 15/8 or 22/8 at one of our last 2 home games. If anyone has any photos from the 1980 or 1990 sides I would love to get some sent through. Below is the team sheet from the budget from 1980! Recognize some of these names?? TAG AWAY!!
03.01.2022 Congratulations to Peter " Smokey " Masika who plays his 100th game for the club tomorrow. Smokey joined us in 2014 and has played 97 A Grade & 3 B Grade games, and he was a member of the 2015 premiership team. Using his smooth skills and turn of pace, playing mainly as a small forward, Smokey has kicked 66 goals, ( and missed a few from inside the goalsquare, but we won't mention them! ) Since joining the club Smokey and his family have become very popular with both the players and supporters, and regarded as one of The nicest blokes off the field you could hope to meet. Lets make sure we celebrate the milestone with a win.
