21.01.2022 Remember that bee situation near the creek gap on SENDURO. Well, a bee keeper has been out to site and in an attempt to remove the bees safely, a trap has been set up. Please don’t touch or move the white coloured box! On another MORE EXCITING note, this Friday‘s planned announcement will be brought forward to tomorrow at 7PM. #itsallhappeningoutatkersbrookMTBtrails

20.01.2022 We have made a few changes to HAPPY TRAILS jump line which is now complete and ready to ride. The road gap has been rebuilt bigger and stronger than ever. Further changes to the jump line will happen at a later date. Happy Road Gapping!!

19.01.2022 Good luck to all the riders racing the Gravity Enduro this weekend at Kersbrook! Multi-gaps will be getting a work out this weekend, there is plenty of speed to gain and lose on the trail. Here is a little video we accidentally filmed a few weeks ago, remember the A-line is always the fastest. Happy Racing

18.01.2022 Happy Friday all how about this amazing weather perfect for a ride Due to erosion the connection section of koaster and happy trails is getting some much needed love and attention looking foward to riding this once complete Stay tuned

18.01.2022 Another big thank you to everyone who helped out on the trails today, it was a fantastic turn out. Without the power of volunteers, these trails wouldn’t exist, let alone having MTB racing back at Kersbrook. The trails are surprisingly very dry so we touched up as much as we could. We have just had a huge downpour of rain, so that should help settle things nicely. The weather forecast for race day next weekend is 19 and partly cloudy, let’s hope it stays that way.

16.01.2022 Trail Closure Update SUNDAY 13/09/20 We will be out repairing sections of trail tomorrow morning to late afternoon. The lower section of Kersey Koasta 2.0 will be closed for the morning. The following sections of trail we will be working on are: Kersey Koasta 2.0 - Road Gap... Happy Trails - 2nd half after the jump line Jumps Revamp - The J-Lo Drop Jumps Revamp - Jump Line Please keep an eye out and slow down when passing any volunteers working on the trails. If you run out of steam in your legs feel free to come give us a hand to move some dirt near the end of Happy Trails. Happy Riding

16.01.2022 **CARPARK UPDATE READ CAREFULLY** Work has begun on the new carpark and it‘s coming along nicely. The weather is looking good next week so from Monday work will begin on the SHUTTLE PICK UP POINT. As of Monday 7th September 2020 there will be no access through the bottom fire gate (MG10) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.... The TRAILS ARE STILL OPEN! If you plan to ride you will need to ENTER & EXIT AT THE TRAIL HEAD ONLY! This means no shuttles, all enduro only! We will keep you updated next week and if your out riding please STAY WELL CLEAR OF THE HEAVY MACHINERY! On a lighter note, if the weather looks good next weekend we plan to organise a build day for stage 2 of the return berm section. Keep an eye out next week for further updates.

08.01.2022 The secret is out and what a time to be alive!!! MOUNTAIN BIKE RACING IS BACK AT KERSBROOK . Work is still underway on the carpark and shuttle pick up points and coming along very nicely. The bottom fire gate is still closed for access until further notice. Please keep using the trail head as your entry and exit points and GET YOUR ENDURO ON!... The GESA race has come up a little early than expected and we would like to get a few things done on the trail network before the race. The weather should be clear this Sunday so if anyone has a few hours free, can swing a shovel and help us move some dirt, please send the page a PM and we will get in touch. Weather depending we will look at holding a trail maintenance day next weekend. Keep an eye out tomorrow night and we will put an update up on any trail repairs/closures for Sunday.

08.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone who helped out with the trail work today. It was hard going pushing the wheelbarrow but we got a lot done . Kersey Koasta 2.0 road gap also got some love today with the take off being rebuilt and reinforced, the landing got some attention and we fixed some drainage issues . We will keep an eye on the weather for next weekend and hopefully we can hold a trail maintenance day on Sunday, which will be a lot more easy going than today. Keep an eye out during the week for further updates.

07.01.2022 TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY SUNDAY 20/09/20 With the 3rd round of GESA next weekend we would like to touch up some bits and pieces on the trails before the race. If your free this Sunday and can help out send the page a message and we will get in touch. The plan is to close and walk 1 trail at a time. If you plan to race next weekend this is the perfect opportunity to walk the trails and suss out some lines. Feel free to bring your bikes as we will be cutting some laps when we are finished, if you don’t feel like riding we will have some refreshments on ice at the bottom.

04.01.2022 We can’t help that we have built great trails, but with great trails comes more riders and with more riders, brings more vehicles. We are happy to announce that Forestry SA has been working on a plan for carparking and shuttle drop-off and pick-up points, with work commencing later this week. A new carpark will be constructed on the west side of Mount Gawler Road, approximately 100m from the current shuttle pick-up point. This new section of carpark will have road base put do...wn along with new gates, signage and fencing. The carpark isn’t going to be small; we expect it to hold at least 60 cars. The existing shuttle pick-up point will remain in the same location, with the current fire gate being relocated and a proper shuttle turn around point to be installed. We expect the shuttle pick up point to stack 10 cars at a time. New fencing and signage will also be installed along with some maintenance work to the fire road. Unfortunately, the trail network will be CLOSED AT SOME STAGE while construction is taking place. The construction is weather dependent and is planned to start this week. We will let you know about any trail closures closer to the date. Please keep an eye out and stay well clear of the heavy machinery which will be onsite. This sure is an exciting time for the Kersbrook trail network, moving another step closer to becoming an official mountain bike park .

02.01.2022 Remember all that excitement that was happening last month at the end of the trails just off MG23? Well we are just about finished, all will be revealed Friday 7pm .

02.01.2022 Please read the following during Total Fire Ban days and stay safe everyone Thanks to the Adelaide MTB rides crew for the post

01.01.2022 What have we been building at the end of the trails just off MG23? Where does the trail go and what does it connect to? Well all is about to be revealed!!!! This new section of trail is called NORTH OF THE WALL and has been designed as what we call a return berm section. With the increased numbers of riders lately, we noticed a lot of riders are stopping on the fire road after finishing their run, then riding back up MG23 to the fire road climb or Dead Man’s Climb. T...his section of trail is designed to shoot you back around to the cross road and remove congestion off the fire road. This is stage 1 of 2 for this section with Happy Trails getting a trail extension shortly. For the time being, North of the Wall can be used to pick up all the trails leading onto the fire road, Multi Gaps, Jumps Revamp, Kersey Koasta 2.0 and Happy Trails and is one direction only. Check out the YouTube link to see how it all works! YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/vIsRlmr79HQ TRAILFORKS: https://www.trailforks.com/trails/north-of-the-wall/ This goes to show the power of volunteers and donations! We would like to thank everyone who donated timber and supplies for the boardwalk and bridge, especially Wade, who sacrificed his Bali Hut project so we could use the PermaPine posts. We also received some very generous donations of timber, fixings and concrete from Callery Building and our team member Ben, which made this project possible. Another special thanks to Forestry SA for their continued and ongoing support and for allowing this all to happen. We've been out this afternoon and the trails are absolutely saturated! It would be best to hold off riding the trails until the next week and North of the wall will be ready to ride. We still have that exciting news coming so watch this space! Happy boardwalk riding!
