20.01.2022 Good morning everyone. This page is shifting direction towards coaching people wishing to change their lives by removing blocks or obstacles that are holding them back from achieving their goals. Whether those goals are fitness or a complete life change, I'm here for you. Fitness will always underpin everything I do because I truly believe in the cliche, "healthy mind, healthy body." Clarity of purpose and in life can only be achieved when you are taking care of your body. Looking forward to sharing more with you in the future as I too move in a different direction or rather, build on the direction I have already taken. So here's my first life coaching tip. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. If you are looking to change either a big or little thing, work with what you've got. Have a wonderful day.
13.01.2022 Good morning! Tomorrow is April 1st - the official start of Gold Coast Marathon training. I am training four runners so far for this event and will be introducing them in the coming days. There is fifteen weeks to go. Plenty of time to prepare to achieve your goals but not enough time to goof off. Let's go!
11.01.2022 Me Because I am no longer allowed to run I will be challenging myself to walk the 10km in under 90 minutes.
04.01.2022 Micha - super mum In the last 18 months Micha has done an amazing job of transforming herself into the super fit person she is today. Her journey has been even more inspiring to watch as most of her training has been done on her own slotted between taking care of three young children. Micha has never run a race before and has challenged herself to either run the 21.1km or the 10km.
02.01.2022 Remo Romeo At 57 Remy is pretty fit. He is an experienced runner with personal bests of 1:31 for the 21.1; 3:31 for the 42.2km marathon and 5:30 for the 56km Ultra Marathon. Remy's main challenge is finding time to train with a job that requires early starts and manual labour. Remy is a landscaper and while this keeps him fit, it also means training after a day working in the heat. I believe with consistent training Remy will break 1:30 for the 21.1km this year.
