21.01.2022 Lendlease lends a hand for annual Community Day Adelaide, 9 September 2019: This week Keep South Australia Beautiful is working with approximately 30 Lendlease ...volunteers as part of a local community project in at Mercy Road North, Osborne. Keep South Australia Beautiful (KESAB) is one of more than 100 national causes selected as part of Lendlease Foundation’s Annual Community Day initiative. On 11, 12 and 13 September volunteers will assist with the KESAB Clean Marine program proudly sponsored by ATCO including collecting rubbish and debris along the Gulf St. Vincent shoreline and adjacent Tech Port areas. Now in its 24th year, Community Day allows Lendlease employees to work alongside their colleagues, community partners and families, providing the chance to give back to the communities they live, work and play in. Reinforcing Lendlease’s strong partnerships with the communities they operate in, projects are selected by employees in areas or with organisations where Lendlease has a current or future presence. Quotes attributable to Cate Harris, Lendlease Group Head of Sustainability and Lendlease Foundation: Community Day offers our people the chance to choose where they want to have a meaningful and positive impact, volunteering their time and skills to make a difference. Last year more than 4,000 Lendlease employees globally joined community volunteers, supporting over 240 Community Day projects. Since 1996, we have supported activities ranging from working with schools to upgrade facilities, to cleaning and landscaping public spaces and refurbishing community facilities. John Phillips OAM Executive Director of KESAB says that corporatecommunity partnerships underscore environmental sustainability initiatives. KESAB community education and litter removal in fragile areas such as coastal and marine environs are enhanced through demonstrable action embracing restoring and improving the environment from the impact of illegal dumping and littering.

10.01.2022 A great start to this beautiful day. I was fortunate to have attended the Volunteering SA & NT AGM. There was wonderful information delivered on the fantastic job all volunteers in South Australia perform and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to the many Road Watch and Clean Marine program volunteers. In particular the 50 + students of Roma Mitchell Secondary College who are participating in a Road Watch litter clean-up today. I hope to have some further information on this to share soon. Louise Stewart KESAB Road Watch - Adopt A Road Project Manager.

04.01.2022 This is worth watching. When our volunteers collect litter from the roadside they are stopping some of the plastic entering the natural environment. Warning this video does show animal Necropsy (autopsy).

03.01.2022 Nestlé volunteers clean-up Bonython Park Close to 150kg of rubbish was removed from Bonython Park on a sunny afternoon in June by Nestlé employees determined to... do their bit to tackle the litter problem. In an effort to reduce their environmental footprint, 21 Nestlé volunteers from the sales team walked or trammed to Bonython Park from the Adelaide sales office. Once there they donned gloves and joined Louise Stewart from KESAB who kicked off the Clean Marine River Program proudly sponsored by ATCO day with an overview of the work of KESAB and shared some tips for saying safe while volunteering. Nestlé Co-ordinator for SA, Anna Leddicoat said that the day was just one way we are taking action to help achieve a waste-free future. Our goal for the clean-up was simple: to leave our local community cleaner than we found it. And we did. We were surprised by the number of less visible, small pieces of rubbish we found, as well as some unusual items such as a shopping trolley and camcorder. We were also very appreciative of Adelaide City Council’s assistance in collecting the rubbish at the end of the day, Anna said. Addressing the challenge of plastic waste requires all of us to start behaving differently, and there is no better place for us to start than from within our own company, and in our own neighbourhood. Our employees are the same as everyone else, they are passionate about making a difference and today has reminded us that often it is the small steps we take every day that can have a ripple effect for lasting environmental change, Anna added. Nestlé has already laid out its broader vision to achieve a waste-free future and announced a series of specific actions towards meeting its commitment to make 100% of its packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025, with a particular focus on avoiding plastic waste and pioneering alternative materials. The clean-up was part of a co-ordinated global volunteering effort timed around World Oceans Day in June which saw more than 1,000 Nestlé employees volunteer at clean-up events across Australia. 01.01.2022 A big thank you to the Pirate Life Brewing and their team who participated in the Clean Marine Port River shoreline Clean-up on World Environment Day. Around 3...0 staff working in shifts participated over the 4 hour event. Congratulations on a massive effort with a huge focus on the debris that had lodged in the Rocks of the Riprap Barrier at the Tom O’Shanter Creek and all along the Northern side of the Port Creek. The Joyce Snadden Reserve was also a focus for the team who picked up micro plastics embedded in the grass and in the play ground cover. See more
