25.01.2022 Here are some of our Year 4 students caught in deep discussion on the topic of palm oil and sustainability. The students were encouraged to look at all perspectives on this topical issue, from the perspectives of the orangutans and farmers, palm oil companies and governments. It made for some very interesting and thoughtful reflection

16.01.2022 Kol Hakavod to our very own school captain Shani Spielman who today joined thousands around the world in concluding the entire Talmudic tractate of Eiruvin as part of the Daf Yomi cycle. Well done on a truly remarkable effort and achievement! #dafyomi #talmud

15.01.2022 We are so looking forward to seeing the smiling faces of our students when they return for Term 4 and see the brand new astro turf and portable goal posts ready for them to enjoy! The students may be on holidays, but the work at KTC goes on! Check out the before and after shots below.

14.01.2022 And here is a quick sneak preview of the new astro turf layout with goal posts before Term 4 resumes next week!

13.01.2022 An evening was organised by the KTC Foundation to mark the official dedication of the Kesser Torah College courtyard. The courtyard was donated by Mr Ervin Katz in honour of his late brother, Tibor Katz zl, who was murdered in the Shoah. Attending the ceremony together with Mr Katz were his children and grandchildren, KTC Foundation President Meir Moss and his wife Dvora Moss, KTC Foundation Executive Director Tania Cohen, President of the School Board Shaul Schapiro, Colle...ge Principal Roy Steinman, College COO Darrell Godin, KTC students and guests. Included in the courtyard plaque dedication is an image of the original Nazi record of Tibor Katz, showing the date of his arrival at Mauthausen concentration camp and the date of his death. The chanukiah was an additional gift from Mr Katz, in memory of his late sister, Ella Wagner. Made in Hungary, it was a wedding gift to Ella and her husband, Tibi Wagner in December 1954. It was later gifted by Ella's son Tamas to Mr Katz. The Kesser Torah College Foundation had a custom-made table and encasement built to hold the beautiful chanukiah. The encasement can be opened, as it is the intention of the school to use the chanukiah and to continue celebrating its beauty and purpose.

03.01.2022 To coincide with last weekend's Shabbat Project activities, our Early Learning students were busy creating their own Shabbat cards with messages to send to the residents of the Montefiore Home in Hunter's Hill, which they will receive in time to greet them this Shabbat! Here are just a few of them. Shabbat Shalom #shabbatshalom #goodshabbes #earlylearning #chessed #shabbatproject2020

02.01.2022 With several Wallys found, quick appearances by Things 1 & 2, floaty princesses and mermaids, Cinderella and some of the Wild Things - it must have been Book Week here at KTC! Even Darth Vader made a sudden appearance but he was quickly unveiled to be none other than Mr Steinman, who was popping into our Early Learning to treat the children to a very entertaining story time!

02.01.2022 Year K 2021! Here are just a few of our Early Learners being welcomed by our teachers and experiencing a day in the Year K classroom ahead of the commencement of their school journey next year! #school #yeark2021 #iheartktc #earlylearning #welcome #schoolbegins

02.01.2022 Here are a bunch of smiling primary school students as they embarked on a series of excursions this week, taking advantage of the great weather and easing of restrictions. Among their outings included Taronga Zoo and Q-Station, where students learnt about how technology has changed over time. They also saw examples of primary and secondary historical sources. It was amazing to see old hospital and medical equipment, a 103 year old suitcase and its contents, and inscriptions... on rocks! #experientiallearning #technology #environment #historyfacts #sydneyharbour #tarongazoo #qstation #inquiringminds #sunshine
