23.01.2022 Happy #WorldHelicopterDay! Held on the 3rd Sunday of August each year, World Helicopter Day aims to raise awareness to the contributions that helicopters make to our society and celebrate the diverse range of people that design, fly and support them. Every day there are people relying on helicopters for rescues, disaster relief, transport, firefighting, medical transfers, power-line maintenance, tourism, agriculture and many more roles around the world.... Being a proud Australian owned helicopter operator, #TeamKestrel says thanks to everyone who keeps our machines airborne.

22.01.2022 In 2019, Kestrel partnered with Firehawk Helicopters to own and operate a fleet of #Blackhawks that work between the United States and Australia . As the US battles its own intense fire season this year, we want to wish the entire Firehawk team, and the #TeamKestrel crew flying with them, safe and effective firebombing! We look forward to welcoming the Firehawk team, and our other US partners, back to Australia this summer!

22.01.2022 With the current United States wildfires devastating vast western parts of the country, our thoughts are with those impacted and those working to contain these megafires. As the situation in the US has grown, it has been an opportunity to return the favour and assist our mates at Firehawk Helicopters, with some of our #TeamKestrel pilots currently in the US flying Firehawk's fleet of S-70 "Blackhawks". Each season, we work closely with our US based partners to ensure ...that our local communities are protected with a range of heavy helicopters, with the planning for the coming Australian season well underway. #TeamKestrelFirehawk will once again be flying Blackhawks in #Australia this coming #fireseason, strengthened through our joint experiences gained working together in the current US fire battle. We wish everyone fighting the fires from the air safe flying! #bushfires #aerialfirefighting #blackhawks #safeflying

15.01.2022 It's #BackToTheFutureFriday again as we continue our celebration of 35 years in operation! A big part of our training programs were the outback low flying camps. We owe thanks the Walsh's at Moorna Station and the Kennedy's/Laity's at Ned's Corner Station who generously opened up their homes and properties until we purchased Lake Victoria and Kulnine Station.
