23.01.2022 Catch up on how your Council is helping with Covid-19...
23.01.2022 At City of West Torrens we continue to work hard to keep your rates low. Once again, the 2nd lowest residential rates in metropolitan Adelaide.
22.01.2022 In coming weeks, you will see Enerven trucks in the streets around Ashford and Keswick as our street lights are upgraded to LED. As your Councillor, I have been pursuing the upgrade for some time, and it is great to see roll-out commence. LED public lights are a great investment, as they 1. Create jobs in South Australia 2. Reduce our electricity bill and carbon emissions, and 3. Improve public safety in our streets.... There is plenty more to come, with around 4,000 to be upgraded over the next few years.
22.01.2022 It is been a while since it rained, and with the extreme heat... if you have street tree outside your house, give your tree a drink.

20.01.2022 Been doing some tidying up at home? Dont forget residents get two free kerbside hard waste collections each financial year.
20.01.2022 Having first raised this initiative at Council in March last year, really pleased to get support from the State Government and approval by Council for the trial. Also... dont forget you can get a free kitchen caddy and bags to help put more of your organic waste into your green bin. Just drop into Council to pick up your caddy and bags, or let me know, and I will drop one off.

18.01.2022 Residents have confirmed multiple car break-ins in Ashford and Keswick in recent times. Our two cars also :-( These have been overnight break-ins. Please make sure you lock you car, with no valuables inside. If your car has been broken into, please contact South Australia Police. It will help if the culprit is caught and may also give some momentum to more surveillance.

15.01.2022 We have clearly expressed concerns the State Government about the new Planning and Design Code. Unfortunately, they don't appear to have listened.

F...or those that don’t know it is basically a program for 6-18 year old teaching them soccer within the indigenous communities. What I’m trying to do for him is gain some donations of some sort, any out grown goods such as football boots, shin pads ,guernseys etc. As it’s a new year and we are all cleaning out our wardrobes if there is anything that is still in good condition that the kids have out grown that you would like to donate please let me know and I can arrange a pick up and get this gear to him and make an enormous difference in there lives. Hoping to get this there by mid Feb to help out these kids and possibly open up there potential. Please feel free to share this post as I’m hoping to get a great amount shipped there.
