24.01.2022 I hate to say I told you so! The amount of sugar in bread is just shocking. Remember, bodies are designed to hold around 1teaspoon of sugar, most of which goes to brain functions. The body simply does NOT need more. Now think about how much sugar is in your food......

10.01.2022 There are MANY pathways to a Keto Life, this much I know is true. Having said that, the actual path is simple: you need to up your fats and cut your carbs to get fat-adapted THEN you need to lever back the fats to ensure you are burning stored fat and not dietary fat, and you need to tailor your protein appropriately so you are not overeating the right amount for YOU in one sitting. Why? Because excess protein can also end up 'stored'. So how to get started? Ahhh, we are bac...k to the many paths! This will depend on your lifestyle, your goals, your patience, your willingness to get out of your current comfort zone, and whether you need a Plan/supplements/coaching etc. There are many very good coaches, many very good advocates and lots of good programmes now available! This is both a blessing and a curse.... I have been a great advocate of giving everything a good hot go and seeing what sticks and so my experience is based on this. I recommend different approaches because we are ALL different, but the end goal will not diverge, it will assimilate into one clear path with very obvious boundaries as outlined above. Whatever you choose, be prepared to get into things for the long haul and don't shortchange the experience. By taking that step forward into Keto, you are already streets ahead of the pack still trying to justify FrankenFoods and additives, and shoddy carbs and cookie-cutter diets. You will already be ahead of the majority wondering why they feel so lousy every day but tucking into their pesticide-laden wheat past because they cannot envisage life without pasta - and isn't past great for Italians anyway? Yes, it is when it is made in Italy where they don't drench their wheat in Round-up just before its harvested!!!
