21.01.2022 There we are Gem, here is a couple of ideas for you planter boxes that don't cost any money. For the polystyrene box you can get them at Woolies just ask at the veggie section. Paul may have a milk crate or two in the shed, just line with news paper about 8 pages thick. Other people out there may have more ideas. With raising the seeds this is how I am trying it this year, have bought a couple of punnets of plants but not many.

19.01.2022 Went to the farmers market this morning at Torquey. Although small it was all good stuff. Just loved the bread stall. I have found out with these markets if the coffee is good you are half way there. Well the coffee was lovely. All the veggies look nice and fresh and about a dollar cheaper than the supermarkets. All jams, chutneys and preserves where $6 a jar which I thought was good value and very nicely presented. I think this is a new market and will grow over time. Out of 10 - 7 plus.

17.01.2022 The new Shadwell Cottage Waveney Caravan park attendant is eagerly waiting on the arrival of her first customer to the park Oh here they come!. I have saved this one for you it's our best site with water views and chook house out look. Please make you self at home. She is very good at her job, bless her, pity it's only our van!. Well as you can see she is parked up waiting for our first visitors. Who will that be? your guess is as good as mine xxx

14.01.2022 WINCHELSEA UNITING CHURCH ART & PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW. Hi to all our followers and supporters and everybody in general, just a reminder that the 17th Art & Photography Show gets under next Friday evening, November 3rd with the Grand opening, which will include the presentation of all the awards to the winners, followed by a beautiful light supper, all for only $5- students and exhibitors are free. This will take place at the Globe Theatre, Willis Street, Winchelsea, we would love to see you there. Shows opening times through out the weekend are Saturday and Sunday - 10.00 am till 5.00 pm and Monday the 6th from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.

13.01.2022 Bit of a sad finish to the day, when it was time for the chooks to come and get their tea. They think it's tea time from 2.00pm on wards. I only had 9 chooks which is not unusual as there is always one running on Adelaide time. But after calling and walking round the place still no sign of her. After an hour or so I started to get worried but still no sign. As I was having a last look before dark I found her tucked right in a corner, she had passed on, bless her. I don't know why or how at this stage. But it is very sad. 10 brown chooks are now 9, RIP. I know I shouldn't get so attached to them but I can't help it xx

13.01.2022 What a lucky boy I have been today, I received two presents in the mail. One was the Contented Chook book from Liz & Russ. Thank you so very much, lot's of stuff in there. The other present was from Han & Gem. I have now got a lovely little wooden dibbler, it even tells me how far to stick it in, doesn't come with batteries though! as well as string and wooden name tags,,just love it, thank you guys xx

03.01.2022 Good old Gumtree!, just bought a second hand worm farm, along with second hand worms. was told there are at lest 700 hundred worms that the guy himself put in there with out all the babies. I gave up counting after 345, just took his word for it. Not bad for $30- . As you can see a couple of the slippery little sucks tried to do a runner. I'm to quick for them xx
