19.01.2022 Attention lovely kettle customers. We would like to share with you our plan for keeping staff and customers safe amidst this virus. As you know, we will not be accepting keep cups, but other measures have been put in place to ensure safety. -We have taken all sugar, salt and pepper off tables. Just ask one of us if you would like salt or pepper. -Sugars will be used from sachets. -All cutlery has been taken from our station on the floor and is being kept behind the counter. -We urge customers to use contactless payment; but if you must use cash we have sanitiser on the ready. Menu on the next few pics. Love the Morning Glow fresh juice which had watermelon, apple and strawberry. Crispy fried chicken sandwiched between the savoury waffles. Poached egg was gooey an...d the homemade loaf was good. Personally felt my cut of beef brisket was a bit dry and over-seasoned. Nice spacious neighbourhood cafe with leafy plants, dried flowers and cute, quirky interiors. Thanks for the invitation and having us! @kettlecafelathlain

13.01.2022 Repost @leenthefoodie Neighbourhood cafe offering a variety of brunch options @kettlecafelathlain We tried the following: Pork Shoulder Kimchi Pancake served with Gochuchang ketchup and oozy poached egg Savoury Pulled Duck Waffles served with poached egg, candied chilli, ponzu dressing Omai Fresh Juice - Apple, Mint, Ginger & Pear HeartBeet Fresh Juice - Beetroot, Ginger, Carrot, Grape Fruit Orange... Both dishes had great flavours with fresh greens to compliment. Good serving of pork shoulder, kimchi pancake had the right amount of kimchi flavour and I enjoyed the gochuchang sauce spice. Jono enjoyed his Duck waffles and the candied chilli added a good touch to the dish. We also really enjoyed our fresh juices, especially the sweetness of the Omai. Milk, eggs, flour and toilet roll are in stock and ready to go. *Bread will need to be ordered a day in advance. *Fruit and veg, a day in advance (no delivery wed and Sunday) (cost will depend on order) * meat cost will vary, and will need to be ordered 2 days in advance of our delivery (enquire with us as to days of delivery) We are hoping to be able... to provide other things like sugar, teabags and smaller bags off coffee.
