19.01.2022 Kevin and Catherine send their best wishes to everyone for a safe and prosperous 2021
18.01.2022 My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with locals at the Maddington Central Shopping Centre on Saturday and learning more about the issues important to them. I was also grateful to clarify some confusion about the electorate name change from the last election. Some people were unaware that Maddington and most of Gosnells were a part of the electorate that now goes under the seat name of Thornlie. It was great to let Maddington and Gosnells residents know that I'm there t...o represent them as well! #thornlie #maddington #gosnells #martin #supportlocal #waelection2021 #waelection
18.01.2022 The Morrison Government has worked hard to support Australians through what has been an unprecedented year. The road ahead will be bumpy, but signs are positive for Australia's recovery from the pandemic. @Camilo4Pilbara
15.01.2022 Thanks for a great day back in July Senator Matt OSullivan - it was fantastic to catch up with some local business people and talk about how current issues are impacting them.
12.01.2022 Its always a pleasure to catch up with Senator Dean Smith. It was great to talk to local businesses in the Forest Lakes Shopping Centre with the Senator and hear their stories of starting their business and how government can help them to continue growing. Small businesses represent more than 96% of all businesses in Western Australia and the sector contributes $50.1 billion per year to the Western Australian economy.
12.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came to our Quiz Night at the Thornlie Football and Sports Club on Saturday night. Everyone had an amazing time and it was great to see so many people support my campaign. Thanks to George Tilbury - Liberal for Forrestfield for joining us, we really appreciate your support
08.01.2022 Local residents in our community have asked me what local and state governments are doing about speeding and hoon behaviour on our roads. Here is part of the response I received from the City of Gosnells: Speeding and hoon behaviour are offences against the Road Traffic Act,...these actions should ideally be addressed by the Police, which would be far cheaper than constructing engineering solutions which affect all road users... A future Liberal government has made a commitment to recruiting 1,200 extra police officers. I am very keen to learn from the community what you want to see happen. Do you see a place for road calming devices or do we just rely on police?
08.01.2022 Assaults against the elderly are spiralling out of control under Labor. Two elderly West Australians are assaulted every day, with police figures laying bare the shocking scale of brutality against the States most vulnerable. Labor cant continue to sit on their hands and do nothing, the public has had enough and wants action now. The government needs to send the strongest message possible that assaults on vulnerable members of our community are just unacceptable. ... 08.01.2022 10,000 more Australians will be able to take advantage of the Morrison Liberal Governments First Home Loan Deposit Scheme. This enables Australians to purchase their first home with a deposit of as little as 5% (not the usual 20% required by banks), and also saves on the cost of Lenders Mortgage Insurance. 08.01.2022 From my family to yours, we hope you all have a lovely Christmas today
04.01.2022 Over the last few months, I have been out in our local community chatting with local residents about the issues that matter most to them and their families. People keep telling me they are concerned about rising household bills and cost of living pressures. The Liberals Plan for Cheaper Power Bills will increase choice, allowing for new companies to offer you innovative, green, renewable power options and cheaper power bills for families and small businesses.... 03.01.2022 When out and about in the local community, I keep hearing from locals that they are concerned about the safety of their family and increasing crime. Whether it be violence, drug use, or anti-social behaviour, it is clear the local community is worried about feeling safe in their own homes. That's why, as your Liberal candidate for Thornlie I will fight to ensure that there is an increase in the number of police on our streets. ... 02.01.2022 Australians will be among the first in the world to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, if it proves successful, through an agreement between the Australian Government and UK-based drug company AstraZeneca. Under the deal, every single Australian will be able to receive the University of Oxford COVID-19 vaccine for free, should trials prove successful, safe and effective. Read more https://lbr.al/fm4e
