24.01.2022 I’m with my friend, The Breaststroke Master Lucy Porter, receiving pointers on how to swim faster in that stroke. WA Long Course State Championships HBF Stadium 26-28/3/2021.

20.01.2022 I was so happy with my effort today, I knew I could go faster but I never thought 4 minutes faster was possible. I still feel I can go faster so on Australia Day 26th at Sorrento, I’ll see what will happens. I want to thank all my school mates in Mia, Else, Melinda, Anya and their families for coming down to watch and support me swim. It’s so wonderful to have your support. Thank you all.

18.01.2022 Kwan and I are so proud of our little Champ, Katie. What a amazing effort by her yesterday. One more 2.5km Swim then will look at 5km for the future. Katie is so composed and easy going, and loves and respects her swim mates and friends. The great work put in by her new coach/s, Will Greenwood and Jon Harrison and the Team at Westside Christchurch Aquatic. Off to HBF today to swim 400m in freestyle and IM.

17.01.2022 A Big week Ahead. I think I’m ready to race, our brilliant coaches have prepared us thorough and well, let’s now perform for them. On Thursday I will be swimming Catholic Inter-Schools for my school, St Brigid’s College in 6 events. ... On Friday night the 2021 Long Course WA State Championship start at HBF Stadium, 3 days of intense racing. Our coaches have prepared us well. Nearly 20 races to compete in so please wish me Luck.

12.01.2022 I had a great day out with my school cross country today taking out 1st place. It was a very hot 3km run but straight after I went to my swim club for a two hour swim down and recovery session. I’m very happy with my performance today. Thank you all for all the kind words and support today.

07.01.2022 What are you doing on Australia Day, Tuesday 26th February, 2021. Great Open Water Swimming at 8am at Sorrento Beach. Come along and swim the 2.5km with me or just come and see me perform.... A fantastic way to start the the day and I would love to see you there. It will be a fantastic day.

01.01.2022 When Katie came out from school today she had two nice little surprises for Mum/Dad from today’s assembly which the whole of St Brigid’s College attended (about... 1300 kids). The Two Sports awards. 1. 2021 year 7 Inter - House Swim Champion. 2. 2021 year 7 Inter - House 3km Cross Country Champion. Also the trophy for House O’Connor winning the Inter-House High School Swimming competition: Roll on the the inter house athletics carnival next term. Congratulations Katie, all the hard work pays off,
