25.01.2022 IT SUPPORT This role ensures all KTL IT requirements are managed appropriately by a committee member with adequate IT experience and training. You're our go-to for computer maintenance, back-ups, software / hardware issues or back-end website maintenance. If you're a tech geek or the next Bill Gates (ok, maybe not) - bring your problem solving skills to the KTL team! Contact [email protected] for more information.

25.01.2022 MCHC COORDINATOR If you love bringing new parents and babies joy - consider this role! You co-ordinate short informal presentations to new parents groups who belong to the City of Boroondara Maternal & Child Health Services. You share information about the KTL service, provide details about membership and are an encouraging and warm introduction to the toy library service and benefits. You love people (and cute babies!). Contact [email protected] for more information.

17.01.2022 Always Was, Always Will Be. NAIDOC Week 2020 runs November 8 to 15, but its lessons and message are for all time. This years theme, Always Was, Always Will Be, ...recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Events will take place all over Australia, including through virtual platforms such as Zoom. Hear Stories of Country, learn how to give an authentic Acknowledgement of Country, and much much more. To find an event accessible to you, visit https://www.naidoc.org.au/get-involved/naidoc-week-events

16.01.2022 Today is the United Nation’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Held on November 25 marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence an international campaign that aims to create awareness of the fact that violence against women is a human rights issue. Since 2009, on every November 25 people walk against family violence. Maybe you've seen it in previous years, maybe you've been one of them. Although we can’t walk t...ogether around Melbourne’s CBD like in previous years, we can still walk or wheelchair around the block, go for a walk with a friend, or find a group and participate in a planned local event in your area - you choose. Wear something orange a facemask, hat or t-shirt and join others, show your support for victim-survivors and help send a message across Victoria that family and domestic violence is never okay. #WAFV2020 campaign image: Safe Steps
