09.01.2022 {Join us for our LAST Friday Night Live music event tonight and we’re going out with a bang with The Tosti brothers (including a founding member of Hunters and Collectors)!} Tonight at 7pm, we have the wonderful The Tosti Brothers, AKA Modog's, who have developed and grown in popularity since early 2000. Influenced by the community, culture, and sounds of their younger days, they perform music that speaks to people across the musical spectrum. In their cover band shows the...y have become synonymous with a diverse collection of crowd-pleasing songs spanning decades, anything from The Beatles to Amy Winehouse. Ray Tosti - Vocals, Guitarist & Songwriter Ray is the lead vocalist & guitarist for the Tosti Brothers. He began his career singing in high school bands, working his way up to join The Jetsonnes which led to him being a founding member of Hunters & Collectors for which he was inducted into the Aria hall of fame, one of the highest accolades in the Australian Music Industry. Tony Tosti - Bass, Piano & Songwriter Tony, like his brother Ray, began playing at an early age, joining his first band while still in Primary School. 09.01.2022 {Another Friday Night live stream live music set - for your ears and your soul } Don't forget, tonight at 7pm we're featuring another wonderful Melbourne artist on a Kew Junction live stream - to bring a little music (and joy) into your life! Tonight, it’s Kris McGill, who has been performing music ranging from covers to originals, country, rock, ballads and even heavy metal (a long time ago!) since her teens.... Coming from a live background, Kris plays with an acoustic guitar and chooses not to use backing tracks (Although she does get a little light and shade from some backing singers in a box on the floor!) She has played all over Melbourne, at too many venues to count, and has provided acoustic support for both The Eagles Story and Scarecrow The Mellencamp Show. 04.01.2022 We love this recent Google review for local plumbing suppliers, Reece Plumbing of 360 High St Kew. If you're upgrading your bathroom, kitchen or laundry, you can't go past Reece for quality basins, taps, fittings and so on. 'Really helpful staff . Rang them to get the parts required to fix a leaking toilet and the gentleman was patient and helpful in explaining what I needed. Got the part on the same day and fixed the leak.
