16.01.2022 The City of Boroondara are working hard to keep the community connected during COVID-19. While many of the actions we’re being asked to take to keep ourselves and the wider community safe require us to physical distance, it is important that we remain socially connected. At particular risk of social isolation during this time are older adults, to combat this the City of Boroondara are encouraging people to check in with their older neighbours. To help you make contact while keeping physical distancing measure in place, click on the link below to download printable cards to place in your neighbour’s letter boxes as an offer to help. https://www.boroondara.vic.gov.au//looking-out-your-neighb

The centre will remain closed as we begin to prepare for redevelopment works to begin in the coming months, with demolition due to take place soon. 03.01.2022 Preparation has begun at the Kew Recreation Centre ahead of the redevelopment starting. While we have rehomed the majority of the gym equipment at other Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities, there are some items we have no space for. City of Boroondara would like to allocate this equipment to non-profit organisations in Boroondara to enhance physical activity programs for our community. Unfortunately equipment cannot be allocated to individuals. For more details please see our website https://kew.boroondaraleisure.com.au//openin/centre-closed
