14.01.2022 With October being Safe Work Month our topic of discussion at this months safety meeting revolved around how we keep each other safe in the workplace physically and mentally. We touched base on topics such as heat stress and near misses and what we can do to prevent them. We also spoke about who we can go to or contact if we feel that a team member, family member or ourselves need some extra help and guidance with our mental health. After a group discussion on these topics we... came together to enjoy a BBQ to raise funds to donate to Grapevine Group. Grapevine Group Association Inc is a locally founded grassroots volunteer group which raises funds and awareness for suicide prevention in the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday regions.
