24.01.2022 Very moody loving the texture & metal. We have some great fabricators in Melbourne. Aged brass & natural copper being very easy to specify. Super cool island bench lighting, (perfectly installed too). I’m not sure I could live in such a dark interior but great for dinner parties & cocktail nights ...the cocktail skills being ramped exponentially during this isolation time. 24.01.2022 This is my gardening inspiration for the day! So lovely I am not sure where this is? Gardening is keeping me calm & centred at the moment. I do have a confession to make though, it’s actually my hipster shame... I can’t keep an indoor plant alive to save my life. Maybe I love them to death, not sure? So it is important to me that I see my garden from my windows. As designers, we often design spaces with garden windows & window seats, especially in kitchens, so clients can have their herbs on hand & water them with a pullout spray tap. I have baby lettuce growing on the window sill in my laundry. Greens are good right now! Such a beautiful opening; stunning marble; lovely lighting & superb detailing! 10/10 We can hand choose unusual marble from boutique importers & position veining perfectly for visual impact. 21.01.2022 Just for a bit of a fun post today!!! We decided to visit all of our job sites yesterday, spreading the love & gratitude for our awesome tradesmen, keeping them out of fear & having a good stir & belly laugh with them all. I met a new plumber on a job site who was introduced to me. He marched up to shake my hand. Without thinking I stepped back, pulled my hand away & said ‘Uh uh no, not at the moment but you bet I will be back in 3 months for a big cuddle!’ The gorgeous man b...lushed from head to toe but said he’d be waiting! Then we went to choose tiles for a few jobs... I want you to all to know that being highly visual & having a very good imagination can be interesting at times. The ideas that randomly pop into our minds can be hilarious! By the time we finished choosing tiles with the lovely Brad @artform_melbourne we had shared another good laugh. Sometimes you just can’t unsee things....& I loved the first tile for so long until @emmahaileyf ruined it forever Let me introduce you to 1. Mouldy bread 2. Virus under a microscope & 3. 10.01.2022 We finally got back to have a look at this finished beauty in Hampton. Simply Stunning .... not sure I would ever get out of bed. The bedroom was oversized, so we created a dividing wall which as a paneling detail blends with other timber detailing throughout. 07.01.2022 There are those of us who appreciate organized chaos When designing a kitchen, we listen really carefully to capture everyone’s idiosyncrasies & desires. I have a secret love of little bowls, all shapes, sizes & colours...for every occasion. This also aligns with my condiment fetish (but I digress)....This storage drawer in my kitchen may disturb the OCDs because the bowls are not organized by colour & size, but works perfectly for me! Exactly where I need them (there are 3 x 900mm drawers like this lol ). Does your kitchen have perfect storage for every odd item? Do you need more? Is it on hand & accessible? Still so current & not much I would change today....There are so many benefits to keeping it seamless & simple. We always recommend you work around things you love.
