07.01.2022 We are currently recruiting for Qualified Asbestos Removalists for various projects in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. If you are not a qualified Asbestos Removalist, we are open to recruiting experienced demolition labourers who are willing to be trained in Asbestos removal for this particular position. To be successful in obtaining one of our roles you must have the following: - A great work ethic... - A commitment to the role - Current demonstrated experience in the asbestos removal industry or demolition industry - Current BONDED or FRIABLE asbestos removal qualifications OR must be willing to be trained in asbestos - Full PPE for asbestos removal projects (including half face respirator) - Not mandatory as we may supply after training commences - Drivers license and Own vehicle - Construction White Card Your duties may include: - Remove asbestos from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers, and others structures, following hazardous waste handling guidelines - Clean work areas of loose asbestos, using vacuum, broom, and dust pan - Use of power tools - Assisting trades and/or other workers While not necessary, it will be an advantage in obtaining one of these roles if you have: - An asbestos medical conducted in the last 12 months - Respirator fit testing for both half and full face respirators conducted in the last 12 months - Tools for asbestos removal Potential on going roles are available for successful candidates.
