13.01.2022 Eyebrows Throughout History

13.01.2022 --- IMPORTANT SPRAY TANNING INFORMATION --- WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT? - If you are having a spray tan for a special occasion, it is best to arrange your appointment at least 1-2 days prior - If you tint your eyebrows, where possible, please arrange this to be done the day before or day after your spray tan to avoid the tint from interfering with your spray tan... - If you are planning on having a Manicure or Pedicure for an event, it is best to have this done prior to your spray tan BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT - Wax & Shave at least 24 hours before your appointment - Exfoliate from head to toe the day before your appointment. Please be sure to pay particular attention to dryer areas, like your elbows, knees and ankles - Moisturise after exfoliation the day prior to prepare your skin for the spray tan - If and where possible, try to arrange your appointment for a time that allows you to shower beforehand. Do not wear deodorants, moisturisers, makeup or perfumes. These will interrupt the absorption of your spray tan. If showing is not possible though, please ensure that you remove any of these products with Baby Wipes or Wet Ones prior to your spray tan - Try to wear dark, loose clothing. Anything that clings to your skin or is too tight may cause your tan to develop unevenly - Remove all jewellery and while your tan develops - Please advise me of any dry skin areas and any wounds or allergies WHILE YOUR TAN DEVELOPS - Avoid contact with water - Avoid any activity that causing perspiration - Avoid excessive hand washing while you tan develops. Use Baby Wipes or Wet Ones, if required SPRAY TAN AFTERCARE - After leaving the tanning solution on for the required time you can now shower. When showering avoid using soap and use only warm water to wash off the solution. You will notice that the solution comes off as colour. This is normal, so don’t panic - After showing pat your skin dry. Continue to avoid any vigorous towelling to prolong the life of your tan - Once you’ve had your shower, you may notice that your tan seems to have disappeared. Don’t be disheartened, it will continue to develop in the coming hours - Keep your skin as moisturised as possible. This will increase your tans longevity and will help avoid it wearing off in patches due to dry skin - Tan extenders can also be utilised to extend the life of your tan - Avoid activities that cause excessive perspiring for 12 hours after you spray tan - Avoid activities that naturally exfoliate the skin, like baths and chlorinated pools, for at least 12 hours after your spray tan - If you need to use insect repellent, please keep in mind that this may remove or fade your tan. Some website suggest spraying it on clothes instead of directly on the skin THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS THAT SPRAY TANNING DOES NOT PROVIDE PROTECTION AGAINST UV RAYS BE SURE TO SLIP, SLOP, SLAP!
