25.01.2022 Good laugh for a Sunday Jennifer, a manager at Bunnings, had the task of hiring someone to fill a job opening. After sorting through a stack of resumes she found four people who were equally qualified. Jennifer decided to call the four in and ask them only one question. Their answer would determine which of them would get the job.*... The day came and as the four sat around the conference room table, Jennifer asked, 'What is the fastest thing you know of?' The first man replied, 'A THOUGHT.' It just pops into your head. There's no warning. 'That's very good!' replied Jennifer. 'And, now you sir?', she asked the second man. 'Hmmm...let me see. A blink! It comes and goes and you don't know that it ever happened. A BLINK is the fastest thing I know of.' 'Excellent!' said Jennifer. 'The blink of an eye, that's a very popular cliché for speed.' She then turned to the third man, who was contemplating his reply. 'Well, out at my dad's property, you step out of the house and on the wall there's a light switch. > When you flip that switch, way out across the pasture the light on the barn comes on in less than an instant. 'Yep, TURNING ON A LIGHT is the fastest thing I can think of'. Jennifer was very impressed with the third answer and thought she had found her man. 'It 's hard to beat the speed of light,' she said. Turning to Wally, the fourth and final man, Jennifer posed the same question. Old Wally replied, 'After hearing the previous three answers, it's obvious to me that the fastest thing known is DIARRHOEA.' 'WHAT !?' said Jennifer, stunned by the response. 'Oh sure', said Wally. 'You see, the other day I wasn't feeling so good and I ran for the bathroom but before I could THINK, > BLINK, or TURN ON THE LIGHT, I had already shit myself..' Wally is now working at a Bunnings near you!

24.01.2022 I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself & asked... ''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?'' ''Why would I do that?'' He asked...... ''Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer. You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!'' I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking. He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house? ''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything! His answer left me tongue-tied. He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now. You know I am alone...this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave. Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried. When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live. Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online? Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer? I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships. Does Amazon deliver all this as well?''' Technology isn't life.. Spend time with people .. Not with devices. 18.01.2022 Hi! We are in Westbrook Drive in Keysborough. Last few hours there has been a man walking around our streets, walking up people’s driveways and acting somewhat suspicious. First noticed him on few home cameras between 8.45-9.30. Due to increased vehicle break-ins and car thefts in the area over the last few months, you can appreciate that few of us are worried and uncomfortable with this type of behaviour. We have managed to capture his image as he was making his way towards someone’s front door and checking out their cameras. Would you please consider posting this image and see if anyone else has noticed any similar suspicious behaviour by this man. We would really like your help. Thank you!

01.01.2022 Anonymous post- Warning everyone there has been drive buys every Saturday (that we know of) in Somerfield estate around 2:30am by a dark coloured Ford station wagon, the car is so silent you cant even hear it I just coincidently see the light and then they go up and down the street very slowly. This has been seen on Weston st and the station wagon goes towards Tyers lane. We have called the cops each time and they have been prompt in responding but some how these people dont get caught. Make sure your car doors are locked and dont keep valuables in them.
