19.01.2022 MOTIVATION F R I D A Y IDOLS To be the best, you learn from some of the best, learn from the greats and expose yourself to better work. ... 2019 was one of my toughest but most rewarding years of my life. Having worked for Jason & Rachel Leitch, two of the most well known people in the horse industry. I learned a lot of lessons, failed, had success & pushed myself like never before.. These two are my absolute idols We had some massive days/nights, the 2AM starts, mucking of stalls late nights/early mornings, feeding, treating horses, icing horses, preparation of shows.... and so much more. But lord was it worth it! The knowledge I took away from JRL Stud was enormous. Working along side the best in the business, seeing everything come together... the talent shine & the hard work pay off. I realised... Opportunities are missed because it looks like hard work. Not trying, is worse then failing. If your not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original Less is more ~ Jason Leitch

15.01.2022 T H U R S D A Y >EDUCATION< ‘If you are fond of a horse & wish to do him a real favour ~ TRAIN HIM WELL. Teach him good manners, good habits, both in stable and under the saddle. You need never worry about the future of such a horse if for any reason you may have to part with him. You assure him of friends wherever he goes. ... Perhaps the greatest kindness you can do any horse, is to educate him well’ ~ Tom Roberts ~ The Young Horse

02.01.2022 It is with mixed emotions that I write this post, I’m extremely excited but saddened to inform you that I have made the decision to return to the land, which leaves me 2 weeks left of my business to go. When I arrived in Katherine late February, I aspired to tackle a new career opportunity working in an office (!!!) but due to the covid-19 restrictions after only a week of work, like many others I was unable to continue this employment. To get through the covid-19 epidemic, ...I started KF Horsemanship Training not only as a source of income but also a way to help those wishing to further their riding skills and knowledge base. I have met & got to deal with some amazing people. I would like to thank all my clients and supporters who have trusted me & been with me on this journey. I’ve ridden some great horses with loads of potential. I hope to continue building KF Horsemansip when I do return to Katherine, but in the mean time I would like to offer anyone interested in putting miles (mustering/tailing) on young horses or those out of work. Price will be tailored according to individual requirements. Thank~you all again for your unwavering support. Chase your dreams
