24.01.2022 $16,000 Good Morning Our Brothers And Sisters, We have concluded our fundraising efforts in order to send the money to Lebanon and put it to good work.... We, the organisers, Antonio Jabbour, Joseph Farid Rizk and myself, would like to thank each of the donors for their wonderful generosity of $16,000AUD, a list of the donors can be found on the gofundme page. Although we have fallen short of our target to ensure we were able to help across 3 initiatives, we will be sending the money to Lebanon in the hope that the families will use the amount received to pay for electricity, pesticides and food for their families. In what are truly unprecedented times, the generous donations of some of our Australian and American families will lift the burden that is faced by our brothers and sisters in Kfarsghab, Lebanon. We continue to pray for the people of Kfarsghab, our home, which we are fortunate to have originated from. God bless you and your families always Lee Malkoun Antonio Jabbour Joseph Farid Rizk

06.01.2022 Dearest Brothers and Sisters of Kfarsghab, In what are truly unprecedented times for our people across the globe, our hearts bleed for our beloved Lebanon, with it’s citizens facing financial burden from unemployment, coronavirus, rising cost of living and reduced agricultural sales. With our people settled in Australia and the United States of America, our respective governments and banks provide various forms of financial assistance in most cases to reduce the financial bu...rden during this time, however, as we know in Lebanon and especially for our people, this is not the case. For generations, Our Lord has blessed our ancestors with both land and ingenuity that have made us the most respected in our region and of Lebanese descendants around the world. We cannot forget this legacy bestowed upon us, hence the reason we have decided to start this fundraising initiative to ensure our beloved family and friends in Kfarsghab come out of this dire situation in the best possible financial position. We encourage you to support this initiative, with complete transparency of the funds raised to go to village wide initiatives such as:- - Electricity Generator Subsidy Payments - Every Dwelling In The Village to benefit through July - September 2020 - Government Electricity Proportional* Subsidy Payments - Paid Upon Request By Individual Households to committee formed to handle this specific stimulus package - Agricultural Pesticide Proportional* assistance payments - Paid Upon Request By Individuals to a committee formed to handle this specific stimulus package CASH DONATIONS CAN BE COLLECTED AND LODGED ON YOUR BEHALF BY ONE OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS IN AUSTRALIA. UNFORTUNATELY DONATIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE. To ensure fairness and transparency, the funds will be allocated initially to provide generator electricity for the entire village to alleviate financial burden and for every person in Kfarsghab to benefit, with the remaining funds to be split depending on the number of requests received from households and individuals per remaining initiatives. It is (our) belief that this is the fairest way of dispersement, so that people with different needs are given the chance to obtain financial assistance. If you wish to donate to this cause, please follow the link to the gofundme page below and follow the prompts. gf.me/u/x672vz We pray that you and your families continue to be safe and healthy, thankful to our Lord and continue to represent the great people of Kfarsghab, in your communities around the world. Sincerest Regards, Lee Joseph Malkoun, Antonio Jabbour, Joseph Farid Rizk *Proportional refers to the remaining pooled funds after generator subsidy has been paid on behalf of all Kfarsghabi residents. This will then be divided equally upon applicants for all initiatives. ** The committee will include people from numerous members of the village in consultation with Khouri Youssef Constantine.
