24.01.2022 Yesterday some of my lovely clients brought in gifts from home - beautiful scented roses and bread tags for Brylie’s school to be recycled. Love the generosity of people, simple yet kind and thoughtful gestures that have ongoing effects, that my kids can see and learn from. Thank you ladies, you know who you are. x

22.01.2022 COVID-19 update. . . As a small business and a parent to young children, I have many factors to consider in the current situation we find ourselves in. ... Currently, massage has been deemed an essential service and therefore I will remain OPEN at this present time. However, with the situation changing rapidly, I will be reevaluating this daily. I have been keeping up with the latest advice from my massage association, the government and local news reports. Further to this, today I completed a 30min online course in Infection control training, specific to COVID-19. In light of this, I ask those that have apts booked and intend on coming to please use the hand sanitizer provided on arrival, I will be wiping over the table and all necessary surfaces between clients, and card payment is preferred at this point in time. Remember: - If you feel unwell (cold and flu like symptoms) stay at home and seek medical advice if needed by phoning ahead. - Wash your hands regularly with warm soap and water, or use alcohol based hand sanitizer. - avoid touching your face. - maintain social distancing of 1.5m - if you have travelled overseas or been in contact with a confirmed case, you must stay quarantined at home for 14 days. - stay informed and follow the government advice. If my decision changes at anytime, I will inform you immediately and I will contact those clients booked in personally. Thank you for your support. Stay healthy and wash you hands.

18.01.2022 Stage 3 restrictions for Regional Victoria.... I’ve had a few clients contact me over the last day or two regarding the new announcements, just thought I’d post... here so many of you can see it, share it and understand it. Remedial Massage is classified as Allied Health and therefore still an essential service under stage 3 restrictions. I will be continuing to practice while it is safe to do so. If in the near future we get more cases locally or I feel I need to cease work for my family’s benefit then I will update this post and contact the affected clients directly. Please continue to stay at home if unwell, reschedule your apt if necessary, social distance and wash/sanitise your hands regularly. Clients will be screened prior to their apt to ensure they are well enough to attend their apt. I am not intending on taking on any new patients at this point in time. Masks are now mandatory throughout Victoria, and you will need to wear them to/from apt. I endeavour to clean throughly between clients, particularly the massage table and other frequently touched surfaces. Stay safe, stay home, wear a mask and wash your hands. On a positive note, I love my job, I love making you all feel better with less pain and more movement while being mentally refreshed. My mask is on, my towels are on the heater, warming up to greet you! Take care and see you soon! KH

12.01.2022 COVID-19 update. As of yesterday, Tuesday March 31st, the Victorian Department of Health released a statement stating that Massage and Myotherapy are now classified as non-essential allied health services in Victoria (along with Queensland and Northern Territory), effective immediately. ... Only 2 months ago I started at a new location that would make my family life easier while still servicing my clientele locally. A decision and location that I have enjoyed and been well supported. Though I had already made the decision to stop practicing and to stay at home to look after my girls during these unprecedented times, it’s a mix of emotions and uncertainty. A position a lot of us are finding ourselves in. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, and I hope continues to support my little business when I reopen in the future. Until that time comes, please stay safe, stay healthy, stay home and wash your hands. See more
