22.01.2022 Life is not fair in the scale of individuals and years, but in the scale of people and history it has been reasonably fair. Good and bad have mostly equal opportunities in life, but throughout history the outcome generally has been in favor of good. Thus, one has to trust in life. Trust in life is the prerequisite for calmness and serenity. Those who trust in life, may accept not only the differences but also the hierarchies. As such, they may be relieved from hate and anger.... Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #trust_in_life #life_is_not_fair #life_is_fair

21.01.2022 The psychopathic view sees people as objects. Therefore, psychopaths don't recognize pain in others and they can watch people suffer. Narcissists view people as their servants. Therefore, in a narcissistic view, the value of others is as much as they serve. Psychopathy and narcissism in combination create an individual who considers people as dispensable tools. 21.01.2022 Some psychological issues may not go away by time. A chronic cognitive, emotional or behavioural issue may develop to unbearable conditions. Constant feelings of anger, hate, fear, disgust, sadness, and etc. may impact personality in untreatable ways. The cost of untreated chronic mental issues could be but not limited to losing relationships, employment, social network, and loneliness at last. 21.01.2022 Our brain is hungry for problem. It will hunt and feast on any issue that it finds. Being exposed to high quality matters will increase the chance of brain deal with worthy questions. Lack of exposure to diversity predisposes brain to rumination on junky thoughts. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #rumination... #junky_thought #worthy_thought See more

20.01.2022 Emotions are the driving motivations behind motions. One lives to experience happiness, love, excitement, serenity, interest, trust, love, and etc. Emotion is produced by comparing. Comparison between now and past, me and others, here and there creates emotion. Therefore, to be motivated one has to keep comparing. However, comparing is a double-edged sword and has to be used delicately. Wrong comparisons lead to anger, disgust, sadness, regret, fear and etc. In order to have ...a happy life, one has to develop their skill of comparing. 20.01.2022 When you are happy, don’t reveal to yourself why you are happy. Don’t tell yourself that you are happy because of what. Let happiness stand on its own. On the opposite, when you are sad, find a cause for that. Remind to sadness that it would have perished if the reason was not there. Don’t let sadness be self-sufficient. 20.01.2022 As one grows intellectually they often realize how wrong they have been in the past. The moments of such realizations might be an indicator of growth. A stagnant mind is the one that does not come across the realization of their wrongness ever. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #stagnant_mind... #wrongness #growth_mindset #fixed_minset See more

19.01.2022 A common mistake in the pursuit of happiness is to look up so-called happy individuals and copy them. Living in the era of digital platforms has made it even worse. Social media has created stereotypes of happy activities, people, moments and places. Happiness has an odd and personally unique recipe. Everybody develops a taste for their own ingredients of happy moments. There is no universal happiness. 16.01.2022 Unmet feelings in childhood (up until age 25) may remain demanding for a lifetime. Sense of unattractiveness, low intelligence, poverty, being unlovable, physical weakness, and etc. once implanted in the mind of a kid, may never go away. Giving them the false impression of beauty, intelligence and strength may not solve the problem. In fact, it may backlash in adulthood when they realize that their self-image does not match their true image. The best approach might be to redi...rect their attention to evenly distribute it among different aspects of self. After all, there is no absolute value in beauty, intelligence, or strength. Whatever is the value it is relative. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #attractiveness #intelligence #strength #redirection #children #unmet_feeling

15.01.2022 The Achilles heel of personality is the aspect of self that is not suspected to be the weak point. Basically, one is stabbed usually from the back. Perceiving self as intelligent, charming, invincible, humorous, rational, moral, and etc. are the common traps of failure in life. The more one is praising self and avoiding self-appraisal, the harder way they will learn their lessons, if at all. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #Achilles_heel... #self_appraisal See more

13.01.2022 Those (individuals, communities, and nations) that strive to appear superior will end up in loneliness. It is just a matter of time. To have the company of others, humbleness is the foremost needed trait. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #loneliness... #keep_appearance #humbleness See more

12.01.2022 A situation is as bad as one thinks it is, and it is as good as one thinks it is. There is no absolute good or bad associated with any situation out there. Good or bad is an internal attribute with self not an external quality with a situation. The credit of an appraisal of a situation usually is derived from the next situation it brings forward but the next situation is no different and it is not good or bad in itself either. 11.01.2022 The relationship between two individuals can be measured by the amount, type, and quality of the lingual communication they have. 10.01.2022 Ongoing problems in marriage, relationships, employment, parenting, education, daily activities and etc. might be due to (an) underlying mental health issue. To develop sensitivity for mental problems and detect them at their early stages, It is recommended to be familiar with the symptoms of some of the common psychological disorders like Autism, ODD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia, Dementia and etc. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #autism... #adhd #odd #intellectual_disability #schizophrenia #dementia See more

09.01.2022 Love is the highest psychological achievement. The ability to relate and connect with one other individual for the purpose of sheer joy is not achievable but only for a fit and healthy psyche. Love is built on four pillars of trust, compassion, acceptance, and pleasure. The smallest group of people like a family to the largest of them like a nation need love to bond together in a healthy way. Otherwise, those who are not capable of love will develop bondings through unhealthy... feelings like fear of loneliness, financial stress, and etc. The crowds that are shaped around fear have no choice just to spend time with people that they hate. 08.01.2022 Simplicity is one of the governing rules of science. Complexity is a problem in itself. Simplification is the first step in resolving an issue. The problem needs to get simple before a solution. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #simplification

08.01.2022 In 1900, Albert Einstein got his teaching diploma in physics/mathematics and started looking for a job. He has always been a low-regarded student in school and university. All his applications for teaching roles in schools were rejected. He desperately applied to be hired as a door to door insurance salesman. He did not get that job either. After two years of struggling, by arrangements of a friend, he eventually got recruited as a patent clerk in a patent office. In his free... time at work, he wrote four papers and submitted them to the most prestigious journal of physics. In 1905 his theories got published and changed science forever. Here is the moral of his story: 1- Those who disqualified Einstein of being a teacher did a great job indeed. He partly owes his success to those who failed him. Rejections have to be celebrated as much as approvals are. 2- Despite being low-regarded by teachers and professors he did not look into his theories with contempt. He submitted his theories to the most prestigious journal in science because he did not buy into his intellectual ability being marked by his marks in school and university. One has to have his own measures of self-worth. 3- Given that he published four revolutionary papers in one year, he must have been working on his ideas long before that. He had his own agenda and finding a job was not his aim. He needed a job just to pay his bills and work on his secret plan. One has to have his own agenda, a secret mission, and vision that guide and drive him through life. 4- He was lucky that he was not born in 21 century. Otherwise, he would have been diagnosed with inattentiveness at school and been medicated to kill his imaginations or would have been busy with updating his profile on Linkedin and connecting with principals of schools to find a job. Luck plays a role in all the achievements. Being at the right time, with the right people and the right place is a magical combination that only luck can put together. 07.01.2022 Life is not short, but every stage of life that is determinant is short too. Infancy, childhood, school age, adolescence, youth, adulthood, and late adulthood are important and short in the same order. By age, time loses its significance and that is how life seems short. To reverse that effect, one has to increase the value and significance of their time. 06.01.2022 Emotional up and down is the pulse of life. Without emotion is impossible to sense and experience existence. The more one is emotional the more they are lively. However, emotion not necessarily is real and reliable. In other words, joy and sorrow can be on an unreal and false basis. That is how emotion is a precursor for failure. To be successful one has to be as rational as possible. One has to compromise on livelihood to succeed. That is the irony of life that a higher capa...city for joy may work against success. 04.01.2022 Psychological problems arise from needs. Some of them might be low status in the hierarchy of needs like food and sex. However, to glorify those psychological problems, one may tend to attribute them to the higher status needs like morality and self-fulfillment. The glorification of psychological problems is one of the common causes of complications. Khalil Dolatyar #psychology #glorification... #psychological_problem See more

02.01.2022 Change is not optional. Each and everyone changes throughout life either by choice or by force. Voluntary changes usually are associated with a sense of progression while forced changes come with a sense of regression.
