24.01.2022 Voting Now Open for 2020 LIV Council Election - https://mailchi.mp//voting-open-on-26-october-2020-for-202

20.01.2022 Election - www.liv.asn.au/CouncilElections

18.01.2022 I’m delighted to share that I have been nominated for a position on the Law Institute of Victoria’s (LIV) Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to have our voices heard. Voting is open now, you can read my profile and vote here www.liv.asn.au/CouncilElections I hope you and your family have been safe and well during these difficult times. Today I am seeking your support in LIV Council Election. Please share this with your network and request a vote for me. I am Mohammad Nu...rul Islam Khan - also known as Nurul Khan. I run a small legal practice based in the Western Suburbs in Melbourne, first set up in 2017. I practice in Property, Immigration, Will, Deceased Estate and Commercial law. Prior to setting up my current practice, I had worked at two larger legal firms. Before that, I worked in the Judiciary of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh as a Judge in District Court. I, therefore, have a keen and sensitive awareness of challenges facing small firms and overseas lawyers. I am extensively involved in community activities, including assisting and educating migrated people from all over the world in local laws and citizen’s rights in Australia. I work closely with disadvantaged people and help them to the best of my ability. My strengths are strong determination and commitment, which has brought me to this stage. It was hard to get into legal practice being an overseas lawyer but did not lose my hope, and eventually, I reached my destination. I intend to work on the challenges that are being experienced by relatively small law firms and overseas migrated lawyers. Please Vote [1] for me. As an LIV Councillor, I would be responsible for representing the LIV and LIV members interests, along with contributing to the continued development and improvement of our vibrant profession. Voting for the LIV Council election is now open, and many LIV member categories are eligible to vote. I would be grateful if you could take some time out of your busy schedule to vote for me. Please click this link to the online voting ballot: www.liv.asn.au/CouncilElections Voting closes Wednesday 11 November, 5pm If you have any questions about the voting process or the LIV Council, please don’t hesitate to contact either myself via this email address or the LIV Company Secretary via [email protected]. Sincerely yours, Khan, Mohammad Nurul
