22.01.2022 The Board would like to thank those members and guests who visited the club last night. It showed that people do care what is going to happen and hopefully the AGM on Tuesday 10th October at 7:00pm may bring forward some fruitful suggestions. It was a very sad night for the Board... after so much time spent at the club, on the golf course that it may be the end. For the last 10 years or more each Board has dedicated their time to the Club and we guess it has been inevitable t...hat with the declining population, and people generally preferring to stay at home the club's income would decrease but not the overheads. We need to save the golf course. It is a much needed asset to the town and our members. Lastly, the Board would like to sincerely apologise to our wonderful staff for the short notice that the club would be closed indefinitely and to thank you all for your years of service to the club, your dedication and your volunteer hours. 21.01.2022 Good Day Members Just a brief report to let you know that we are still waiting on Snowy Valleys Council to organise sub-division and purchase of land adjacent to bowling green. I suppose the mechanics of Local Government do not move quickly. The council at their last meeting resolved to carry this proposal forward. The Club is going to hold a community social Bar-B-Q on Sat. 16th Dec. after 4.00PM in the garden area at the rear of the restaurant. This will be open to all Khan...coban residents and friends, it will be a bring your own event with the hope that we can get together as a Club and Community to celebrate the coming Christmas and to discuss between ourselves just what the future holds for the Club. 20.01.2022 Att. Push/Mountain Bike Riders The Khancoban Country Club Insurance Company have informed us that Cycling of any description is not covered by the Clubs Insurance Policy. Therefore the Club, unfortunately, DOES NOT ALLOW ANY CYCLING on any part of the Clubs Property. Lionel Marriner President

13.01.2022 BARNES Judy Family and friends of the late Judy Barnes are invited to attend a celebration of her life which will be held at The Chapel of Conway Funeral Home, 20 South Street, Wodonga at 10.30am on Thursday 5th October 2017 thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heartkids Victoria would be appreciated, with envelopes available at the Chapel.

The Golf Course will remain open. The Club will be open Friday night. It is imperative that all members attend the Board meeting on Tuesday evening. 01.01.2022 What fun we have had at the club this afternoon..amazing what 20 plus youngish members can get up to. President Lionel won the first competition and scored a "pint of bitters". Mike Russell won the half time frivolities by landing a 20 metre chip straight in the bucket. Looks like young Christine has picked the winning team with the closest to margin...not bad for a "pom" who only ever played soccer. Thank you to all who supported us today.
