Mix a teaspoon of household ammonia into 1L of cold water and wipe the stain with a paper towel soaked in this solution, try not to moisten the carpet backing. Combine a small amount of dish soap with 1L of water and use a new paper towel soaked in this mixture and continue wiping the stain until it is removed. Moisten the area with a paper towel that has been soaked with cold water, and apply to remove remaining residue.
