12.01.2022 Most of the ghee (including very reputed brand) imported to australia from bangladesh is basically palm oil which has been chemically modified, breaking down the carbon carbon double bond through hydrogen gas. And then adding chemically manufactured ghee flavor to it makes it the best ghee. This ghee is very dangerous for our cardiovascular system, might block atreries. Its a very complicated method but commercially very cheap to make. If you look at the color of the palm oil... and the ghee we buy from the local shops is pretty same. Original ghee will have a yellowish color and will not have strong flavor of ghee. So considering all those facts dhaka delight has started making pure ghee by churning fresh milk to extract milk fat ( malai). Its a traditional way of making ghee.
