24.01.2022 We have all heard the phrase’s he has heart or he fights with heart. But the heart is much more than just an organ pumping blood to fill the veins and giving power to the limbs. It is the caretaker of our world, for what we possess is kept alive by the heart! A mother who packs school lunches in the morning for her children may only seem busy, but each movement and gesture is motivated by the heart.... We may judge a man washing his car ever Sunday afternoon as fastidious or regimented, but his heart will not allow that $30,000 investment to be dirty. Every smile, pleasantry or kind word we offer to friends, family and passers by during the day emanates from the heart. On the flip side if the heart is carrying pain, the eyes only see grey, the ears only hear negativity and the will to embrace life is dulled. 17.01.2022 Life gets in the way of life... but who’s life do you want to lead? I followed a dream once, quit my office job and went backpacking around Europe for the summer. I would do it again in a heartbeat. But it doesn’t have to be a big move, go to the airport at 6:00am on a Saturday morning and buy a ticket to somewhere you’ve never been, brainstorm a new business idea, plan a 10 day wilderness hike... go skydiving.... We all have to work, but if your reason for living is working to keep up the payments on the life you think you should have, then it’s not your life... your wasting your precious time on this planet. 15.01.2022 LETTER TO THE DIVINE FEMININE, FROM THE WOUNDED MASCULINE I know that words can never heal the wounds we have created.... But on behalf of men everywhere, I want to say I’m sorry. So incredibly sorry. For everything. The harassment. The abuse. The rape. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain we have inflicted upon you. Centuries of oppression. Pain passed down thru generations. Your voices silenced. Your bodies shamed. Your hearts assaulted. All of pain and all of the wounds we have created, have come from our own. The Wounded Masculine. If you close your eyes, you will see it. Thousands of little boys, with thousands of hurting hearts. Staring out into the darkness, afraid. Hurting, without being able to voice our pain. Crying, without being able to show our tears. Asked to stand strong and toughen up. So we bottle up our anger. Store our confusion. Repress our emotions. And these little boys, lost and confused, are raised with this conditioning. And with no space to share and process their pain, they hold it in. Stored on a cellular level, and wanting to be expressed. But it’s not. So it remains stuck, and it builds up within. And as fear-based emotions stew within, they mold into fear-based actions. Anger. Abuse. Violence. And eventually, they are released in a rage of fury upon the women of the world. And this deafening silence is passed down from fathers to sons, one generation after another. But it stops here. It’s time for us as men to put an end to the oppression, and provide the divine feminine with the pure unconditional love that she deserves. The only way we stop inflicting these wounds, is to heal our own. And as the Wounded Masculine heals, the Divine Masculine steps forward. Out of the shadows, and into his light. It's time for us to heal that which has been hidden. To nurture that which has been neglected. To speak that which has been shamed. Calling forward all men to acknowledge the pain and hurt which has moved them to hurt others, and inviting them to step into a space where we share and express and heal this pain. A safe space, where we truly listen and lead with love over fear. So we can finally replace all the anger and abuse and violence it's been causing, and transmute it back into our only truth: Love. And as we heal our own pain and come back to love, we finally provide the space for the divine feminine to heal the wounds we have inflicted upon her. As we heal together, we rise together. That famous quote once applied to all things manual as in those days men just did what men do, there was no confusion, they worked and provided, hunted and protected, built and housed their family and loved ones. In today’s society the role of men is less defined, so men are just asked to be men without guidance or worse still by adhering to old ideals. The best thing that a man c...an do for himself, his loved ones and humanity as a whole is to heal himself of all that has wounded him. To seek out wisdom, healers and Shaman to assist him to come back to a place of wholeness and of oneness so that he can stand alone without want or need and can be called upon to lead when the need is great. 04.01.2022 Right now there are Tibetan Buddhist monks in a temple in the Himalayas endlessly reciting mantras for the cessation of your suffering and for the flourishing of your happiness. Someone you haven't met yet is already dreaming of adoring you. Someone is writing a book that you will read in the next two years that will change how you look at life.... Nuns in the Alps are in endless vigil, praying for the Holy Spirit to alight the hearts of all of God's children. A farmer is looking at his organic crops and whispering, "nourish them." Someone wants to kiss you, to hold you, to make tea for you. Someone is willing to lend you money, wants to know what your favorite food is, and treat you to a movie. Someone in your orbit has something immensely valuable to give you for free. Something is being invented this year that will change how your generation lives, communicates, heals and passes on. The next great song is being rehearsed. Thousands of people are in yoga classes right now intentionally sending light out from their heart chakras and wrapping it around the earth. Millions of children are assuming that everything is amazing and will always be that way. Someone is in profound pain, and a few months from now, they'll be thriving like never before. From where they are, they just can't see it . Someone who is craving to be partnered, to be acknowledged, to arrive, will get precisely what they want and even more. And because that gift will be so fantastical in it's reach and sweetness, it will quite magically alter their memory of angsty longing and render it all "So worth the wait." Someone has recently cracked open their joyous, genuine nature because they did the hard work of hauling years of oppression off of their psyche this luminous juju is floating in the ether, and is accessible to you. Someone just this second wished for world peace, in earnest. Some civil servant is making sure that you get your mail, and your garbage is picked up, that the trains are running on time, and that you are generally safe. Someone is dedicating their days to protecting your civil liberties and clean drinking water. Someone is regaining their sanity. Someone is coming back from the dead. Someone is genuinely forgiving the seemingly unforgivable. Someone is curing the incurable. You. Me. Some. One. Now. This life is short, try not to make it harder than it has to be by focusing on the negative or being fearful of reaching out.
