24.01.2022 Clarification of School Arrangements for Term 3 The Victorian Government announced new measures across metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These announcements DO NOT apply to schools in regional and rural Victoria, other than those in the Mitchell Shire. ... Kialla Central Primary School will resume on Monday 13th July, still abiding by the restrictions that were implemented upon returning to school in Term 2. 18.01.2022 Junior School Council are holding a PJ & Beanie Day at KCPS tomorrow, Friday 19th June!! So come dressed in your fav PJs and/or beanie and enjoy a fun day. Don’t forget to bring school appropriate footwear for outside. There is no cost for this out of uniform day.
17.01.2022 Don’t forget our school photos are next Tuesday 17th November. These will be a little bit different this year as MSP are unable to take our usual group photos. Class photos will be a composite style (please see details below). Individual and family photos (siblings only) will be going ahead as per usual. Make sure you return your photo envelopes to school by Tuesday - even if you are not ordering any photos. All payments are to be made to MSP directly, either online or via provided envelopes. Please contact the office if you have any questions or need a new envelope.

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is our last day for 2021! Our Gr 6 students are able to come out-of-uniform and bring their school shirts to be signed on their last day. All other students still wear their uniform. School will finish at 1:30pm. Our school bus will run at this earlier time, and OSHC will run from 1:30 - 3:30pm. Please have arrangements in place for our early finish.

11.01.2022 Happy New Year! We hope you all got to enjoy some rest and relaxation over the festive season. We just wanted to let all our families know/remind them that unfortunately there is going to be a delay in the delivery of our booklists. As a result our booklist and uniform pick up date has been changed to Wednesday 27th January. Booklists can be picked up between 8:30am and 4:00pm. Payment is due at pick up. If we are able to offer an earlier date we will let families know. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but unfortunately this is out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.

10.01.2022 It’s the EGPSSA Athletics Day tomorrow, Friday 26th March. Our school bus and OSHC service will NOT run on this day. Students are to go directly to John McEwen Reserve Athletics Track and need to be there by 9am. The day will finish at 2:30pm. A note has been sent home today with all the details.

09.01.2022 Junior School Council are supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal with an out-of-uniform day tomorrow, Wednesday 31st March. Students can come in casual clothes and are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation to support this worthy cause. Don’t forget to be SunSmart! 08.01.2022 Our Scholastic Book Fair is on again! This year it will run from Thursday 16th July to Friday 24th July. Unfortunately due to current COVID-19 restrictions, Parents/Carers/Families will not be able to attend this year’s Book Fair. KCPS staff will support our families with photos and information about what’s available. This will be shared via Facebook and our students. Items purchased will be sent home once payment has been received. Payment can be made by cash or direct deposit into the school account. Keep an eye out for further information over the coming days!
08.01.2022 JSC are all ready for their annual Guess The Number of Easter Goodies Competition!! Cost is $1 per guess. JSC will be in the gallery each morning next week. Winner will be announced on Thursday 1st April. Can you guess the correct number and win them all?!

07.01.2022 New DET Guidance for Face Masks In line with the new statewide restrictions as of the 4th February, ALL visitors (12 years and older) to school sites MUST wear a mask when indoors. We thank you for your support with this requirement.

05.01.2022 This Girl Can - Victoria is a VicHeath campaign to encourage women to become more active - without worrying about being judged. Greater Shepparton City Council are supporting this initiative by providing free and low cost events for local women. A brochure will be sent home to all families on Friday. 03.01.2022 The holidays have zipped by and we are back to school this week! We hope everyone has enjoyed the break. Our booklists and uniform orders are ready for collection tomorrow, Wednesday 27th January. These can be collected from the office between 8am and 4pm. Payment is required on collection. Families who have credit remaining from 2020 can use this for payment. Students in F/1 Moulsdale do NOT need to collect their booklist - Mrs Moulsdale will have everything labelled in class ready for the first day. All KCPS students start school on Thursday 28th January. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone and having a fantastic year!

28.12.2021 It’s our Christmas Lunch and End of Year Celebration tomorrow, Thursday 16th December. Students need to be in school uniform and bring their drink bottles and a recess snack. We’re looking forward to a fun day!!
17.12.2021 Our End of Year Presentations are being held tonight at KidsTown. This will be held in the areas called Peppercorn 2 and 3 (behind the mini railway). We have this area booked from 5:30, with our Presentations starting at 6pm. Make sure you bring any outstanding raffle tickets. Parents’ Club will also have some for sale. Bring a picnic tea if you like, and don’t forget your chairs and mozzie repellent!

10.11.2021 Tomorrow, Tuesday 30th November will be Miss Baker’s last day at KCPS before she heads off on her Maternity & Family Leave. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re so excited for Miss Baker and Harley as they start the next chapter in their lives. We wish them all the best! Students and staff will share a special morning tea with Miss Baker tomorrow, and parents will be able to catch up with Miss Baker before or after school.
