12.01.2022 Kiama Council are working with Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District and Laverty Pathology after a directive from the State Government, to establish a COVID-19 testing facility in Kiama. The drive-through testing facility will be located at the Kiama Netball facility carpark. Entry will be off Terralong St just prior to the Kiama Ambulance Station. The facility will be open by 12noon 1st January 2021. ... Our primary concern is for the safety of our residents and visitors and we are happy to support this preventative action. A local clinic means that you do not need to travel any further than necessary to have a test done. Mayor Honey reiterates the Premier’s message that you should be tested even with the mildest of symptoms, or if you may have been to any of the areas where confirmed cases have been identified. The Mayor asks that local residents are patient and respectful as there may be some disruption in traffic around the western entry to Kiama. The Kiama Leisure Centre will remain fully operational during the clinic operation period. Patrons will be able to access as per usual via the Havillah St roundabout and the full carpark will be available. To stay updated with the latest information please visit NSW Health website.
