15.01.2022 **State Championships **Presentation Day **AGM Congratulations to the ten (10) athletes who represented the Centre with distinction at the State Track and Field Championships over the last two (2) weekends. There were some personal best times and distances set, but just reaching this level of competition was a great achievement. Under 12 athlete, Maiya Hewitt, performed magnificently winning gold in the Long Jump and silver in the Triple Jump and 400m.... Full results of the championships are available on the Little Athletics NSW website. Don’t forget that our annual Presentation Day will be held from 4:00pm on Saturday 17th April at Kiama Leagues Club. A reminder that athletes must have attended a minimum of 60% of competition mornings and/or evenings to be eligible for end of season awards. Please note that Orientation Days are not included in this calculation. Athlete attendance can be checked via the link on our website. We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to attend our AGM and consider becoming a member of our Committee for the 2021-2022 season. The Centre needs new Committee members to ensure it remains viable and to ultimately guarantee Little Athletics will continue in Kiama come September. The AGM commences at 5:30pm on Saturday 17th April at Kiama Leagues Club. Please come and join us.

07.01.2022 The outlook for weather is not on our side at the moment for State Championships this weekend, and we are receiving a lot of enquiries. We currently plan to pr...oceed as planned however there may be postponements and delays (and let’s all have ourfor no cancellations). We do need to remember though that the safety of our kids is the number one priority. There is limited cover however handheld umbrellas are allowed, along with gumboots and massive wet weather coats. No marquee structures however are allowed into the venue. We know things can change so decisions won’t be made until the day of competition. Let’s hope for some .
