Must be energetic , happy , well presented, able to work well in a team or independently and able to confidently and competently interact and care for animals and owners ! Duties include but are not limited to , daily feeding of dogs and cats , cleaning suites , exercising and interacting with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperament , monitoring animal health and well being , interacting with owners , answering phone and email . While this position is a whole lot of fun it holds a great deal of responsibility so we ask only responsible and reliable people who are willing to uphold our care and service standards need apply . You must be very conscientious and motivated to be responsible for ensuring our pets have a healthy and happy experience. (There is a lot of hugs and happiness but there is a lot of cleaning too ) You must enjoy and be confident and competent with customer contact as well as animal interaction. Award wage and weekend penalty rates apply plus Superannuation and annual leave . Hours approx 38-40 per week , please note our hours involve a SPLIT shift . Mornings 7.30-10.30 Afternoon 2-5.30 This is a 5 day per week position . We are open 7 days /365 days a year so some weekend and public holiday work may be requested . We ask that if you cannot do this please do not apply . While formal qualifications are not essential preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience in animal care and behaviour . Customer service experience also a bonus . We are looking for a long term commitment please. Not sure it could get any cuter ... We are very pleased to infact be on their Honour Roll as a preferred partner and equally as pleased by the wonderful service they offer for your pets to attend your special day . If you like to book, update personal or pets details , upload a profile picture of your pet , upload vaccination certificates , check your future bookings , check your invoices , check payments and even cancel your booking , you can now do this all via our portal !! Access is via our website www.kiaoraparkpetcare.com Go to Services Choose Cats or Dogs Then if you are an existing customer simply enter your email address (needs to match the one we would have in file ) , and be prompted for a password (for an unknown password -which would be the case for most first time users you will be prompted to say you don’t know it and an email will sent etc ) Once you have a password you can log in and will then be directed to the portal which has a simple dashboard and plenty of prompts to help ! Or if you are a new customer simply register with your email address and a password to login . Please know we still love talking to you as well , so you are always welcome to phone or text or continue to book the way you do now if you find this all a bit much or have any problems . We are loving it and hope you do too ! Happy portal using
