25.01.2022 Last night I won my first APRA Screen Award!!! It was for the song, Torchlight, I wrote for the incredible Australian film, 'Don't Tell'. My brother Dave Higgi...ns did the string arrangement and produced it, and also played piano for it last night during our performance with the orchestra. A big thank you to him. It was pretty spesh. Plus I got to fan girl out in front of Briggs, aka A.B. Original. Such a good night! Thanks APRA/AMCOS! And thank you so much to the whole 'Don't Tell' crew, Tori Garret and Scott Corfield, for giving me the opportunity to write for your stunning, heart-breakingly beautiful film. Most importantly though, to Lyndal, for your HUGE courage, all those years ago. This one's for you, and for every survivor out there along-side you. 01.01.2022 Had so much fun at Kris Keevers workshop on the weekend and as always learned so much. We got to dress up as characters we would like to play.
