07.01.2022 The Clarence Valley Council met for an extraordinary meeting today to elect a Mayor and Deputy Mayor for the next 12 months. Cr Jim Simmons and Cr Karen Toms were both nominated for the position of Mayor and Cr Simmons retains his position for another 12 months. Cr Jason Kingsley and Cr Greg Clancy were both nominated for Deputy Mayor and Cr Kingsley will retain his position as Deputy Mayor for another 12 months.... Tomorrow Morning at 710am on Kick Start Your Day With Damo, Major Simmons will be on the program to chat about the last 12 months and his vision for the next 12 months as he leads the community through COVID-19.
