22.01.2022 OK Kickin' Country we are moving closer to restarting our classes. The kick off date is Monday evening 29th June. If you haven't confirmed the class you'd like... to attend please inbox or call me. There are Covid restrictions that we need to adhere to. No overlapping of classes and no coming into hall until previous class is finished. All social distancing and hygienic measures must and will be implemented. Might take away some of the social aspects that we are used to but we will at least be back on the dance floor. See you all soon. PS Parish/ Church halls are yet to open. See more

22.01.2022 We've had to make the call and cancel all our classes till further notice. Hopefully it won't be for too long and we'll get our lives back to normal. I'm sorry it's come to this but we need to be safe and consider everyone's health. Stay well and look after yourselves.

14.01.2022 Hi! All, just an update as to when our classes might resume. At this stage it's looking like July. Our venues are yet to reopen, with number restrictions and Co...vid stipulations needing to be in place before they can open again. I know we are all eager and waiting but with everything getting back to some sort of normality July is probably more realistic. I'll update you when I have further news. See more

11.01.2022 Update for Kickin' Classes, there are varying degrees of info at the moment. Federal, state & local have all different views on numbers etc. Our local council h...alls will be opening shortly but as of yesterday it was still 10 per class or session. I'm hoping now the Premier has increased the number to 20 for dance classes that the council will also up the anti. So watch this space. See more

02.01.2022 Friendly floor etiquette reminder! We all know you have a favourite spot on the dance floor, in class and at socials. Just a friendly reminder that if someone i...s in your spot You need to find a new favourite spot until yours becomes available again. Nobody owns a space on the floor, so be considerate of your fellow dances and don’t push anybody out of the way. Once a dance has started, moving on and off the dance floor Should be done carefully. If you need to leave the floor, you should do so By using the most direct route off the floor rather than the most convenient way to where you are going. If a dance has already started and you are yet to make your way onto the floor, find a spot on the outsides to avoid bumping into people trying to get into the middle. Nobody enjoys turning around to come face-to-face with someone walking through the line of the dancers to get on or off the floor. We all have to start somewhere, so if you see someone newer than you struggling, offer them a helping hand by letting them follow your feet. If you see someone sitting alone, say hello with a warm smile and ask them to come and sit with you.Line dancing is not just about dancing for many people, it is a way to make new friends and have something to look forward to each week. We are all here because we want to be, so enjoy your dancing, be considerate of others, and remember to smile. Josh
