23.01.2022 Our Martial Art program is nurturing, engaging and supportive. I hope to welcome you into our family! X Miss Sarina

21.01.2022 Such a wonderful turn out today with a full out class! A few things to remind new parents: 1. We are teaching your children lifeskills. This is a time investment and we typically help your child build their skill week to week. We need to be patient because it takes time, repetition and practice. 2. Don’t be overly worried if your child is not great at listening or is incapable of standing still. This is normal and again it is practice. Think about how often a young child is a...sked to stand still. Trust the process and trust us. 3. On the other hand, if your child is shy and refuses to take part, the same advice applies. We help to build confidence. Week by week we will see gradual improvement in them. As always, if you have specific concerns about your Child or require specific assistance with something, you can always ask myself or Master Chris for advice. We are here for you all and want you to get the most out of every session! All chats are confidential. We understand classes are run different due to COVID and we also understand that it may be frustrating that wait lists apply due to max numbers in an enclosed space. At the end of the day safety is the most important thing for our families. We do ask you enquire with us about availability and not turn up as we can’t take in walk in’s on the day. Thanks so much and see you all next weekend

21.01.2022 ALL ABOUT YOUR HEAD INSTRUCTOR Miss Sarina. What do you love about your job? I am passionate about teaching Kid’s. I find Children to be super quick learners and eager to try new things. It’s about giving them the patience and settling them into a new environment and encouraging them to learn and grow every week... What is a highlight from your teaching experience? I think when you have that one Child who finally is able to speak up in Class. That for me is always emotional and it makes me so happy. In the world we live in today, we encourage Children to use their big voice openly and freely. They are able to do this at home, however in a new setting they become shy. We want to teach them the confidence to speak up and yell STOP as this is a useful self defence drill they may need at school or a new environment. You can see parents also get emotional as for a lot of our students the reason they have started Martial Arts is because they are introverted and shy and we turn that around.

19.01.2022 Spot on 100% believe it or not in some families it is the child that decides what is best for them and I have heard it directly from parents: we don’t want to argue with them We personally don’t understand this because we believe a parent guides and supports a child through things they may not enjoy doing like brushing teeth, reading, having a shower, being kind to others by sharing, spelling words they find difficult, packing away their toys, etc. In other words getting a child to do things they may not enjoy is DISCIPLINE. It is what separates two families. I know some people will say life skills and martial arts are not the same thing.. that’s because your child is either not doing it OR they quit maybe you need to find out WHY it is actually a fundamental skill ALL children need.

18.01.2022 Classes are Back this Sunday! Miss Sarina along with Master Chris will be back on the mats training our next round of future black belt superstars! Pre-booking is essential for our program so make sure to check in with us if there is availability! We are gearing up to have one amazing year and we look forward to meeting all our new little ninja’s

14.01.2022 Having your Child enrolled in a sport is fantastic. Whatever sport they do: soccer, gymnastics, basketball or dancing. Now more then ever we need to ensure kids are being active and getting the appropriate minimal level of exercise everyday (1 hour ) for children over 4 and 3 hours for under 4. Our program takes it one step further. At first parents believe a sports program is all about tiring a child out, it is to a point however we actively challenge children as we help fos...ter important life skills. No one said Martial Arts was easy. All of a sudden your child can’t run around as they please but they require the self control and discipline and to learn how to stand still for a short period of time. Kid’s struggle with this and this is why it is a good idea to provide them with the tools on how to learn to slow down. Most sports activities are go go go. No wonder kid’s are always fast wired. Kid’s are so used to active play but they need to learn how to calm down and be more centred. That’s where we come into the picture. Teaching Children Lifeskills should be the area we are focusing on as this is what is going to assist them growing into fine adults one day. Give us a call so we can have a chat how beat we can help you!

13.01.2022 If it is something we have always believed in... it’s seeing the positives in so called bad attributes this sums it up perfectly!

11.01.2022 ONE MORE SLEEP! CLASSES ARE BOOKED OUT HOWEVER: be sure to join our wait list, we may have openings when our little ninja’s progress and graduate into our taekwondo class!

06.01.2022 Good Morning Families, Our Weekend classes are fully booked however we do have weekday options. Enquire now or send us an email: [email protected] ... See you on the mats this weekend little Ninjas

06.01.2022 Classes resume this Sunday! Miss Sarina and Master Christopher Ingrati are back on the mats for the last term of 2020. If there is one activity every child should be doing is Martial Arts. It is the only sport capable of building such a unique skill set that other sports just can’t. Invest in your Child’s well-being and mental strength.

04.01.2022 We say it all the time. It is the child that is most unsettled and the one running around not able to concentrate on the task that needs a program like Martial Arts the most. Unlike other sports that gets kids moving and running a lot we are teaching children to STOP and SLOW DOWN. So if you do a class with us and all your child wants to do is RUN and finds it hard to settle down, keep at it. We have taught many many kid’s like this over the last decade... they learn and they... need a program like this so don’t feel disheartened if at first it seems they will never learn Both myself and Mr Chris are available at the end of class to chat to you about your concerns. When we accept your child into our program;you have our 100% support and guidance. We are here for you to help you and your child. All we need from our families is patience. This is a journey and we know as a fact every child gets there in the end!

03.01.2022 Kid’s need: 1. Patience 2. Understanding... 3. Time It’s ironic how we buy a plant, water it, feed it and let it grow.. and we do this everyday waiting for it to fruit or flower. When it comes to our Children, we expect them to be able to be great at listening, following direction, and behaving appropriately and yet we don’t actually teach this and get them to practice these skills set every day. If you want your Child to do well, we need to actively set them up for success daily, practicing, allowing them to make errors and learning from how they can be better tomorrow. To find out how we can help your child’s road to success, message us today and we will be more then happy to help!
