25.01.2022 Beware of hidden agendas So the first pic is to show the benefits of bean over beef. It has a plant focus and should provoke the viewer to think plant based and less or no animal protein. The issue is its extremely false information. Yes you could eat 100gm of black beans (on of my favs) to reach a macro goal but we can not neglect the calorie goal ... 25.01.2022 "Gyms, indoor fitness centres and swimming pools do not need to close at this time as long as they follow social distancing advice and have good cleaning routines in place." This is the current government position for our gym however, it can change very quickly. We are monitoring the situation and updating as required. Some of you may have noticed the extra cleaning stations located throughout the gym for your convenience. Along with those changes we have modified our class... timetable. We will continue to bring variety in our classes, and ensure both the best methods for effective training, and personal safety are adhered to. * No class will have any contact related exercises i.e. boxing, kickboxing * We will adhere to the social distancing rules within our classes * No physical contact between people * Clients to wash hands before and after class * Mats are currently cleaned 2 - 3 times per day. * All equipment is wiped down directly after use/class * Towels to be used and all equipment wiped down after use during PT sessions and classes. This includes dumbbells, machines and anything that has been in physical contact with the client We appreciate your assistance in maintaining these standards, and should you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to reach out.

19.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE - Distancing implementing the current social distancing guidelines (2m apart, 1 person per 4m squared inside). - Classes will now be restricted to 10 PEOPLE ONLY and a booking must be made prior. Bookings can be made via the app (see link below). Equipment will be allocated per person and cleaned prior to commencement of the class. ... - Online Training For those in self isolation we will be offering personal workouts which they can do at home via the app - Cleaning implementing vigilant hygiene and infection control measures including sanitising all equipment and surfaces used/touched during in-person exercise services. Various cleaning points have been included throughout the gym and plans are for further 2 more points to be included What we are facing is something never experienced before. We are following the advice of ESSA and keeping up to date with practices in other states and following the advice of the federal government health advisers. We will have limited stock on sale but we require everybody to bring their own gloves to these classes as we can no longer supply communal gloves due to COVID-19. 06.01.2022 Craving something sweet this week? Why not try making healthy homemade muesli bars? Give this one a go Ingredients: 125g butter... cup golden syrup 1 cup Uncle Toby’s Rolled Oats (not instant) cup sultanas cup sweetened dried cranberries cup diced dried apricot or dried apple, diced cup self-raising flour brown sugar 3 tbs pepitas, optional 1 tbs sesame or chia seeds, optional Method 1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a 20cm x 30cm slice tray with baking paper. 2. Combine the butter and syrup in a small saucepan over low heat and cook, stirring, until the butter has melted. 3. Place the oats, sultanas, cranberries, apricots or apple (and the pepitas and sesame seeds if using), flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl and stir to combine. 4. Add the butter and syrup mixture to the oat mixture and combine. Press into the base of your prepared slice tin. A silicone spatula won’t stick and makes it easy to push the mix into the corners of the tin. 5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Allow the slice to cool in the tin completely before cutting it into slices to serve. This makes 14 large muesli bar slices. If you’re feeling enthusiastic, make a double batch, slice, wrap individually in Gladwrap and freeze. Too easy!

04.01.2022 REOPENING UPDATE With COVID-19 restrictions being eased across Australia, the fitness industry has today released a robust operations framework, developed to ensure gyms and exercise facilities understand what they need to do to safeguard the health and safety of members and employees. Kickstart will be working through the framework and will decide on what they best way to approach this reopening process. As such we will expect some things to change; Classes, times and even g...ym access may need to change. We ask that you still maintain the cleaning requirements and adhere to the 1.5M spacing whilst training.
