24.01.2022 Ever tried hydrotherapy? It is absolutely fantastic for anyone recovering from surgery, with neurological issues or any type of strength/power issue in the lower limbs. The weightlessness of being in the water means we can do things that we can't manage on land. Someone who is usually wheelchair bound can walk, someone suffering from pain when loading their lower limbs can exercise in a pain free way. KickStart Physio can get you started in the pool today! Contact us to find out more

23.01.2022 So true. Love each other. Be kind. None of us are perfect, but that is why we all are

20.01.2022 Let's talk about balance: good/bad, work/life, rest/fun. When things get out of balance, issues can arise. We can burn out, neglect responsibilities and lose sight of what is truly important. It is good to continuously reflect on your values and goals in life, what matters to you. Be sure to make time for you, doing the things that you love, and achieving personal growth.... Also be sure to rest. We are so goal focused, our lives so fast and always go go go! Be sure to slow down and smell the roses. Appreciate where you are in life right now. Enjoy the little things.

20.01.2022 For anyone suffering from fatigue, depression, pain, chronic illness - this provides alternate and thought provoking concepts regarding our health and healing. https://www.netflix.com/title/80220013

19.01.2022 It wouldn't be fair if I didn't post the bloopers!!

18.01.2022 Wow... these guys certainly look different after a haircut! I can tell you it was definitely a new experience for me to see an alpaca get sheared - I had no idea they were so skinny And Arnold the black sheep got a few shades darker Shearing is very hard work. Bending forward is not a bad or dangerous position for your back - it was made to bend and move. Unfortunately these guys have to bend for many hours each day, and as a result back pain is very common among shearer...s. If you have to do a lot of bending for work, and suffer from back pain as a result, try to incorporate some extension stretches into your daily routine. They will make all the difference. Start lying down on your tummy, and push up so your back is arched. Repeat 30x You can also do this standing up and pushing your pelvis forward. Repeat 30x This exercise should be relieving for your back pain. If it aggravates any pain, cease the exercise and please seek professional advice from your physio. Have a great week everyone!
